I watch it, humorous at times but mostly just reminds me of some of the good times I had with my late wife.

Honestly, it's a pretty funny show, much better than the commercials make it out to be. My wife got me into it after I had been refusing to watch it. The ex husband is quite funny.

Also, Courtney Cox is still damn hot.

By the way, the best new show right now is The Neighbors. That show is way better than it has any right to be. Hackneyed, lousy concept, excellent writing, dialog, and acting.

Don't worry dude, you'll get there. I have a 1.5 year old, so I've recently been through it. A few key points to help you- after the kid starts sleeping mostly through the night it gets better. Help your wife as much as possible and keep her stress level down. Keep reinforcing to her how hot and sexy she is. She probably still has some of the weight and is feeling bad about herself, so you need to make little positive, slightly pervy comments about her body, slap her ass, make up bs excuses to see her naked or bend over or see down her shirt (she'll see through the bs excuse, but you want her to). Little by little, her confidence will grow. When you notice that she lost a little weight, mention it and give details, but don't tell her that unless it's true (example, you look like you lost some weight, i can see it in your face and you look a little thinner in those pants). Don't say that unless you mean it though, this is very important. Once she feels confident, things will get back to normal or even better, trust me.

We have a one year old, wife is a doctor and works 70+ hrs a week. Even after the kid was born we were having sex on a pretty consistent basis...at least twice a week. So, you might want to talk to your wife about it, as I wouldn't consider once since Oct. normal, even with a relatively needy newish born.

Never mind, read that as 8 MONTH old, not week. You're probably fine. Low sex-drive could be a sign of postpartum, so watch for that.

dletter: Wow, a lot of "bad" life situations on both sides there.... in your cases, it may work, if you guys really do have love for each other. Probably a bit of loving you as a "father figure", but, things sometimes grow out of that.

Might work and the father figure/no male has ever treated her as more than conquest has crossed my mind many times, there is love between us, but when she graduates college and finds her way in the world will she want more from life than a husband in his mid 40s and an 11 year old step daughter? I hope she will still be happy, she has a stable home life for the 1st time in her life now so at least the next few years will be good to her and she won't have to work at Wal Mart and live in crappy apartment.
