Your starter for ten is Brighton vs Newcastle. With only twelve league positions seperating them and a weakend team i wouldn't be a very optamistic Necastle fan.

Rex Ryan does not want to be interrúpted.

Newcastle down 0-1

GO OXFORD!!

I don't think we'll see weakened squads at West Ham vs. Man U., although SAF might rotate his squad a little.

I'm torn about Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City. On the one hand, I love to see them lose. On the other hand, I don't want Chelsea or City to have a lighter fixture list than Man U.

A perfect Saturday is when Liverpool lose over a disputed decision by the ref. The whining from Liverpool fans is epic.

SHOLA AMEOBE sent off, second yellow. David Lopez won the Oscar for his after-foul performance.

I'm not objective but I thought that was a harsh red. Looked like a nothing tackle.

Doesn't look good now! Beggerit - the league position doesn't matter too much, but the FA Cup is one of the two chances we have to achieve something this season.

Santon is literally the only player on the pitch who would be in the starting line up of a fit Newcastle squad. While he cant help the injuries Pardew bringing on Ranger ahead of Ferguson sums up the ineptitude on display by all. Club should refund the fans who made the 600 mile round trip...*rant over*

Ameobi didn't help himself by having a shout at the referee on the way off at the end of the first half. Not suggesting the ref was being vindictive, but they're still human and when he's got to make an instantaneous judgement call, that's going to influence how he saw it.

It was a foul, but Lopez rolled about ten times afterward like he had been hit by a truck. Ref got conned, simple as that.

Shola's banned for Norwich, isn't he?

MICHAEL OWEN and PETER CROUCH start for Stoke. So England's Old "Best Young Talent" goes up against it's new "Best Young Talent".

BRIGHTON SCORE AGAIN!

Newcastle out!
Giant killed in the first game.

At least you've still got Europa.

I know it's frustrating. Maybe it'll help your Magpies over the rest of the regular season by giving them more rest and greater focus. That's how I'm looking at it if Arsenal gets knocked out. The Gunners won't get anywhere in the Champions league and are hoping for a top four finish in the EPL since they're not going to win that. Arsenal's bench is far too thin to compete in multiple competitions without risking serious injury to key players.

It will be nice to just watch the matches and not have to worry about what this is doing to my prediction score.

Although, I may have place some small wagers on a couple of the matches.

Demba Ba, getting an immediate start in a Chelsea shirt. Nando relegated to the bench.

If I never hear the phrase "Magic of the FA Cup" again, it will be a glorious life lived.

Glad I slept through today's game.

And Crawley Town are leading Reading after 20 seconds.

2013-01-05 10:20:22 AM
So then, what has the wee club been up to today? ;-)

It's been far too long since United won the Cup. The treble is on.

Cracking stat time: Out of 5220 minutes David de Gea has played for United, only 321 (6%) were with both Ferdinand & Vidic playing in front of him.

2013-01-05 10:23:08 AM
Dempsey scores for Spurs!

Southampton is up on Chelsea now as well. I'm watching Soccer Saturday right now to keep up with all the fixtures.

The MIGHTY Oxford United is down to Sheffield.

I would like to say yes but my position of the FFL and my lack of lottery wins say otherwise.

/Goddamn it Villa, you can't even beat the scum

2013-01-05 10:33:29 AM
Eric Lihij (sp?) the American defender on Villa has put his side behind Ipswich with a bad own goal.

2013-01-05 10:34:52 AM
Spurs up 2-0! Bale puts in Dempsey's blocked shot.

2013-01-05 10:39:05 AM
Really, Villa? You can't even avoid getting behind to Ipswich?

2013-01-05 10:39:09 AM
Spurs up 3! Dempsey scores his second via a header off a Bale corner! Bale + Dempsey = FA Cup champs.

2013-01-05 10:39:51 AM
Hazard cues up Mata to put the club level.

2013-01-05 10:43:22 AM
Norwich up 2-0 and the kid behind the guy updating everyone at the ground is a home fan and does not approve of the announcer's assessment. Pretty funny.

2013-01-05 11:05:09 AM
Villa finally pull one back.

2013-01-05 11:07:08 AM
Martin O'Neil needs to replace his entire defense, geeze. Sunderland down 2 to Bolton

2013-01-05 11:07:57 AM
There you go, Villa. You scored on Ipswich Town. Would you like a cookie?

Blackpool up 1-0 now on a full strength Fulham side.

Conner Wickham scored for Sunderland, so now they are only down 1

That City-Arsenal match could break the scoreboard.
