Satanic_Hamster: I'm going to start a campaign to rewrite the reviews for the movie "Mansquito" as a documentary rather then a sci-fi flick.

tortilla burger: Wikipedia is a good idea in theory, but at some point it becomes impossible to police. It's becoming increasingly difficult for the admins to be knowledgeable in the areas they are in charge of.
Flappyhead: That's the issue though, they don't have to be. Knowledge of Wikis labyrinthine internal legal system trumps any actual expertise on the subject. This rather brilliant hoax exposes that quite nicely.

durbnpoisn: I think that is really amusing. Someone went to great lengths for that one!CSB, which I think of now because of Wikipedia Hoaxes...One day I was watching the Giants game with the family. My son asked me some obscure question about Eli Manning that I didn't have the answer to. So, I went to look it up. The very first line in the article said, "Eli Manning is the President of the United States of America", and continued on at great length about how awesome a job he was doing.I think the chosen photo for him is what prompted the edit to the page:[upload.wikimedia.org image 432x645]The article only stayed like that for 5 minutes or so, and then it went back to normal. I just happened to catch it at just the right time!We all laughed heartily.//end CSB
dcigary: Nothing can ever top this article from Snopes.
TNel: Did you know that Uranus has a dark spot and is very gassy?
