Rapmaster2000: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch were defeated by Dougie Fresh and The Get Fresh Crew at the Battle of the Kool Moe Dee Concert.

It was a short lived victory, as House of Pain had already assembled an army of drunken Southies and was out for blood.

If that makes me complacent then I apologize in advance.

True Fact: His full legal name is actually "Mark Wahlberg AKA Marky Mark of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch".

Did you guys know that Jesse from Breaking Bad was not only on "The Price is Right" but was also featured in a Saturday morning Apple Jacks commercial?

Did you guys know that Ringo Starr and George Carlin were both on "Shining Time Station" before it turned into "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends"?

Did you guys know that Dave Grohl was in a band before Foo Fighters? And Kurt Cobain was in that band too?

Did you guys know that Morpheus is Cowboy Curtis on Pee Wee's Playhouse?

Did you guys know that Luke Skywalker is the voice of the Joker in the early 90s (and superkickassawesome) Batman animated series?

Did you guys know that Giles Martin brought in a budding new record production talent to help him with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, who would then go on to produce Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon?

Did you guys know that Alfred Hitchcock appears in every single one of his films?

Did you guys know that the voice of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop did the non-special character voices for the Imperial units in Star Wars: Empire at War?

Ed Norton doesn't.

His role in Dreamcatcher was pretty unexpected. I thought he did a pretty decent job playing Duddits though.

Tom Green was a *good* rapper who did dadaist humour, and for that he got to marry Drew Barrymore. No justice.

Mrs Rikkards went to high school with him. She said he would come up to her just inside her personal space and just point. No laughing or anything just point. She said he was weird. I said she's just bitter. I got a punch on the arm for that.

Once in a while I will, but not exclusively. The funny part is, he got into hip hop piggybacking on Donnie.  Now he's the one in the family with money to spend on opening the family restaurant chain.

I think Donnie is doing OK for himself. He had a successful tour with NKOTB/Backstreet Boys and gets a few TV and movie roles here and there. Donnie's not swimming in cash like Mark, but at least he's earning enough to live comfortably.

Did you guys know that Jesse from Breaking Bad was not only on "The Price is Right" but was also featured in a Saturday morning Apple Jacks commercial? Not really mass exposure and popularity before starring in Oscar nominated feature lengths.

Did you guys know that Ringo Starr and George Carlin were both on "Shining Time Station" before it turned into "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends"? By the time they participated in this show they had long, illustrious careers.

Did you guys know that Dave Grohl was in a band before Foo Fighters? And Kurt Cobain was in that band too? so, they are muscians

Did you guys know that Morpheus is Cowboy Curtis on Pee Wee's Playhouse?
This is the only one that really applies.

Did you guys know that Luke Skywalker is the voice of the Joker in the early 90s (and superkickassawesome) Batman animated series? That's almost the reverse of this situation; going from an iconic character to something less than A-list

Did you guys know that Giles Martin brought in a budding new record production talent to help him with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, who would then go on to produce Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon? Maybe if this budding record producer was an evangelical with a hit Christian Band he was running

Did you guys know that Alfred Hitchcock appears in every single one of his films? But was he an underwear model before that?

Did you guys know that the voice of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop did the non-special character voices for the Imperial units in Star Wars: Empire at War?

I wasn't really going for a "before they were famous" thing, more of a "did you know that this famous person did something that had nothing to do with why they were famous" (except Grohl I guess).

As far as SW:EAW goes, it's the SW RTS everyone always wanted, but few played. It kicks all ass, even if all you do is play the space battles. It'd odd to hear Spike say things like "The Rebels have taken this system. Deploy your fleet and destroy any who oppose you!"

Gotcha.

Well, if you like Batman (the character), watch the Batman animated series. By far and away the best Batman cartoon ever. (This cartoon is why Kevin Conroy will always be "the voice of Batman")

If you don't detest anime, and I mean really really HATE it, watch Cowboy Bebop. IMO (and many others') it's one of the finest series ever created in the genre. If you're on the fence about anime, it'll push you over one way or another.
