touring the vatican "museum" is all one needs in order to understand the church is complete BS.

They have priceless art, sculpture etc etc all plundered from all corners of earth. Most of it should have been returned to the people from whence it was stolen thousands of years ago.

It wasn't a very christian place IMHO.

If they really were the church of Jesus all of that stuff would have been returned or sold off for the good of the meek.

That's disgusting; I wish I'd thought of it first.

The Corriere della Sera newspaper reported that the Italian central bank took the action because the Holy See has not yet fully complied with European Union safeguards against money laundering

I wonder why that could be.

Sound like it is just Italian banks which are not allowed to operate tehre. I'm surprised other nations' banks haven't stepped forward.

CSB time: I used to travel to Burma (Myanmar) for work and had to travel there with hundreds of dollars in cash because there are no banks allowed to operate due to sanctions. Except the international hotel chains. There you could use your credit card for a 4% "fee". All of these transactions are routed through Singapore in defiance of the current UN sanctions ( I think Lee Kwan Yew personally collected 2% of that) .

I bet the Vatican could strike a deal with a bank from some other country quite easily and go on their merry way of selling their wares to the dupes who go there.

I can understand that, with or without the "reverse ATM."

I went to a church because the wife of a friend died. I sat in the back, left at the 1st opportunity.

ChipNASA: GOD The Catholic Church which is the biggest scam business/bank in the world, does NOT accept CREDIT CARDS
  /ftfy subtard

It's hard to determine which is the bigger/biggest scam. God(s), the RC church or religion in general.

Religion = Superstition + $$$$$
All we need to know about that

Gig103: Ironic, since I have more faith in American Express than Jesus. The former has been on my side in a few disputes.

Jesus is always on your side my son, he just doesn't give a shiat about your finances. That's a job for the church

Unless it's for tithing. Then you can do ACH, credit card, debit card, or probably Paypal in some dioceses.
