Not surprisingly, article fails to point out that the reason for Kobe calling out Shaq in 2003 was because the year prior Shaq decided to wait until the season started to get surgery rather than ruin his summer vacation. Not that that behavior was atypical of Shaq who saw the regular season as a time to get back into shape. Try some context next time.

Also: "We've regressed since Game 1," Bryant said. "Our defense belongs on milk cartons in the last two games."

Great line. Phil Jackson was probably sitting on his high chair, nodding his head to that.

Um that article was clearly designed to make Kobe look bad, but he was right in almost all of those. Only exception was the one where he has to apologize for the gay slurs
