He sounds like my wife's aunt, who, in a single Facebook post, can shriek that Fox News gets higher ratings than the Super Bowl with a picture-in-picture of both teams' cheerleaders having a hot oil tickle fight AND gibber about how anyone who watches the corporate-controlled, Soros-funded mass media doesn't deserve to vote.

Spoken like a true wash-up who lost half his audience after the election.

Oh hells yes this.  I'd subscribe to it on pay per view.

Yes, I am that depraved and craven when mob justice against Republicans that have earned it is concerned.

2013-01-03 09:29:50 AM
Ah, yes. Congress passed a shiatty deal (especially for 1% folks like him) because the Obama-controlled media sucks. Got it.

Sean Hannity's critique of the media and politics is as insightful as a cable guy's.

These "entertainers" are just anti-liberal and their main demographic pretty much have the same characteristics.

That's interesting Mr. Hannity, please tell us more.

I'd like to hear more about this than about Hannity, frankly.

It must be nice to go through life so happily lacking in self-awareness.

the non-Fox affiliated media is dysfunctional and illiterate in the same way that Romney won in a landslide.

I work for the second largest media company in the world with over 150 publications, over 25 broadcasting channels, a dozen production studios, and numerous advertising companies. But don't you dare call me part of the media.

Either that or convincingly reading from a script and then going home to roll around in stacks of hundred dollar bills.

Sean Hannity needs to be punched in the cock, locked into an outhouse and set on fire.

Seriously, there is no bigger idiot on television today. INCLUDING Honey Booboo.

'When I first met Hannity, I had no idea who the hell he was. It was 1996, in a green room at Fox News. I had just finished my first appearance on The Factor to promote Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot, and was about to pick up my coat when I was confronted by what appeared to be an angry, Irish ape-man.
Hannity did not like the title of my book "I don't believe in making ad hominem attacks," he said, thrusting his jaw in a characteristic display of simian aggression.'

Still my favorite Al Franken quote.

You would think they would have learned something about pushing an echo chamber after the embarrassment of predicting a romney landslide and then having the exact opposite happen.

2013-01-03 10:47:18 AM
Without the dysfunctional and illiterate Hannity wouldn't have an audience.

Modern Republicans hate every facet of American life. Can you think of one thing they don't biatch or fight about? Only two things seem to make them happy these days, money and self anal fisting.

Last night Hannity had on a democratic house member and asked him

Sean: "Why won't this president agree to spending cuts?"
Dem: "He did agree to them last year, the GOP did not take the deal."
Sean: "I don't want to hear about that!"

Me: LOL

The biggest lament I've heard from my old man, who is a dyed-in-the-wool Rush Limbaugh-lovin' Teabagger,  over the years is that he doesn't even recognize his country anymore. I've had the conversation with him a number of times about how the world always changes, and if you don't change with it you're gonna be left behind. I feel pity for him, really. He seems rather bewildered.

Yup. The idea isn't to promote rational discourse based on the proposed or existing policy itself. It's to frame it harshly as "liberal." In other words, if a liberal Senator promoted the idea that water is good for you, the actual claim wouldn't be analyzed. The default barking would be that a liberal said it.

I've known plenty of liberals who can act this irresponsibly, as well. Thing is, none of them have their own talk shows and a captive audience too afraid to venture into legit journalism because they've been brow-beated to dismiss it. As a career, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

he's a genital wart with a heart beat that has a long-syndicated therapy show on Fox

If it pisses off Hannity, I'm all for it. I'm pretty sure that could extend that to just about anything.

2013-01-03 11:16:00 AM
Basically Hannity just wants even more dysfunction and fear, a near-complete breakdown of government would be ideal for Fox, the panicky headlines would be neverending and oh so revenue generating. I wonder though, if they've thought their business model all the way through to, you know, the actual breakdown of government and society, and what that would do for their bottom line?

Anyone else bothered (among many other things) by the way he refers to President Obama as "this President"? For some reason, it bugs the fark out of me. I can't put my finger on why, though.

You think so? But he seems to be so damned enthusiastic about it -- I thought it would be hard to fake that kind of energy. Maybe once or twice, but day in and day out -- why, it would drive a sane man mad!

It's a bit reminiscent of McCain's "that one" during their debate. It's just barely concealed contempt. These f*ckers are really mad about history leaving them behind, and Obama (especially after his re-election) is the embodiment of that.

Yeah, but to some degree we all feel that way about our jobs. But, how enthusiastic would you be for $76,923 dollars per show? (He has a 20 mill contract)

They will never care about how they come off to others because they don't care about the other.

The other must be changed into one of them and if it can't be changed it must be attacked.

//How does a group which lauds individualism not understand that following a strict Republican orthodoxy means they must abandon free will?

The same way they worship the atheist Ayn Rand even though Christianity is America's religion, and think Mitt Romney is a Maker, when by Ayn Rand's own standards he is a Looter.

Hannity is just one of the talking heads guarding the inhabitants of Bullsh*t Mountain from rejoining the world of the sane. Fox News is a propaganda machine which dumbs down America by the day through disinformation and their slanted agendas. See their anchors spewing forth feces from their mouths in my visual homage to the network on my artist's blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-fox-news-scylla-guardia n-of-bullsht.html
