JMel: I'm so glad that I live in Texas. 500 more sqft, muuuuuch bigger piece of property, great neighborhood, excellent city (although it did have its first murder in like 50 years a few months ago), booming area, and my house was brand new and $70K less.

And only 25 minutes from Downtown Dallas* (*without traffic).

Now if you excuse me, i'm going to go home and kiss my house.....and my hot neighbor.

Only problem is, it's Texas.

The Gordie Howe Hat Trick: Ogre840: So not only do you need to check for termites, but you need to get the baby exterminator out there too? That's going to cost extra, hopefully the seller will pick it up in closing costs...

If you see one it just means there's a bunch more in the walls.

Next day you wake up and BAM:

The baby is there for scale. Standardized 2-foot baby.

Indubitably: "I heard the last family moved out suddenly."

"in/out it was."

"Don't put baby in the corner..."

"No one usually does."

To baby

The My Little Pony Killer: But you were usually close by with one or both hands free to catch the baby. The realtor obviously isn't.

I have video that proves I was across the room with a camera in hand when the kid discovered gravity.
He cried when he fell off the table, that was about it. No bruises, no concussion, etc.

Toddlers aren't THAT fragile. I wouldn't chuck one out a second story window, but they literally spend all their time falling down. They get pretty good at it.

Babby injury time! When my son was discovering the world, he would 'test' things by hitting them with his noggin. Jeez, kid, you want me to go to jail???

Ok, I took a look at that one and a few others on the site...

WTF is 2.1 baths? More specifically, the 0.1 part.

I thought they only came in quarters, one each for sink, toilet, shower and tub.

0.1 = closet and an empty soda bottle?

Not a bad location - a quiet neighborhood, but close to the freeway.

Two full bathrooms, one half bathroom (sink & toilet only).

But you still live in Texas so you have that to live with.

ProfessorOhki: Great, not only is it haunted, but it's haunted by a baby. As if regular ghost wailing wasn't bad enough.

A baby with dirty diapers. It's quite unpleasant. And it just makes him wail more.

Not only is it haunted by a baby ghost, the first photo seems to show some sort of Amateur Radio antenna attached to the East end of the house. Lord knows what sort of residual radiation is hanging around.

Ed Finnerty: fusillade762: xanadian: $229k in Vancouver, BC?

How much crime is in the area?

I'm not sure why you would care since the house is in Washington state.

So it doesn't teleport? Not interested.

No, but apparently my brain does.

:/

I had darned near white hair as a baby, moved to dark brown over the years and now is graying - maybe I'll close that circle! My wife's hair is black, both kids started out with dark hair that has changed to light brown. Genetics... how does that work?

So you got lucky he didn't fall and hit his head either killing or crippling him. Because you know, that shiat actually happens. To be clear, I'm not calling for Family Services to get involved. I think if parents want to be stupid, they should be allowed to be. If you wanna play stupid risky games with your kid's life, by all means. If you wanna leave him/her alone in the bathtub because there's only a few inches of water in it, go for it. But that you defend it as an acceptable practice means you're stupid. At least realize and admit you're taking a risk.

The hospital will take care of that when they have to take the kid in with a broken limb.
