Some of these comments are solid gold:

You can count on it... anyone who lies as much as Obama is bowing to Satan.

And another gem from this scholar on Obamacare:

Our biggest testing will come when they demand us to put the Mark on our right hand or forehead... when we refuse we will either starve to death or they will kill us. I will never take the "Mark".

There will be some "professing" christians who will take the mark so they can feed their kids... and will spend eternity in hell for it.

Yeah, funny how these farks only care about debts and deficits when a Democrat is in office.

I don't recall hearing nary a peep out of the GOP when Bush spent a shiatload on his pointless Iraqi adventure.

What a coincidence! I cut spending by $1 trillion in 2011 too!

Didn't have it, couldn't spend it, and the bank wouldn't accept my hand-made $1 trillion bill for deposit.

Yes, yes they did. They said the surplus was going to destroy the economy and that's why we needed the Bush tax cuts. They actually did say that.

At one point someone proposed spending $4.6 Trillion in 2001 and he was like 'hell nah', and so he just saved $1 Trillion.

Oh jeez, you mentioned Bush. By default all of the Bush apologists will say you're just passing the buck and refusing to hold Obama responsible. They'll also mention something about firemen show up to fires and don't pour on fuel, amirite?

In the past 13 months, Obama's enacted $1.7T in cuts and now $0.6T in revenues. And Republicans are demanding yet more cuts . . . except to defense contractors since government spending can't create jobs unless it's laundered through the DoD.

This is ludicrous. Republicans are evil, mendacious, mind-boggingly stupid, or some combination thereof. And Obama is a fool nearly beyond reckoning for trying to be the "adult in the room" by negotiating with himself.

There's nothing to cut except for Military at this point. And yet, you hear about "spending problems," but never revenue problems. These people don't live in reality though. Just an incredibly selfish, ignorant bubble.

The US defecit to GDP ratio has gone from about 10% in 2009 to about 5% in 2012, and is still trending down. We're actually in really good fiscal shape. As the economy continues to improve this will stabalize and as long as Government spending doesn't dramatically increase there's really no concern about the amount of debt the US is currently carrying.

This "problem" is stupid.

2013-01-02 01:34:11 PM
Maybe the House shouldn't have approved the 2012 budget, or well for that matter, written it. Since they're supposed to the starting for such things.

/oh wait, the Reps control the House

Yup, the reality is we need to be discussing how to pay off the two wars while also avoiding too many cuts that lead to market instability or a double dip. The Republicans could go out, run some numbers, and see if they can come back with a legitimate argument that we could handle more spending cuts while continuing to see economic growth. Instead they decided to fark the trickle down chicken until they only had a handful of bloody feathers left.

Yeah, this. Everyone talking about the end of the world because of our debt is either selling a book or trying to get ratings or votes. We need to get our financial house in order, and we are, Republicans are just making it more difficult than it has to be. And they will continue to drag their feet so things look as dire as possible for 2014, we should not reward them for that.

Subtard's understanding of the budget is probably about as good as his understanding of household finance:

In case you're new to "republican troll news sites", the "News" in CNSNews is strictly for entertainment purposes, and should not be used for information. They were founded by media concern troll Brent Bozell to
"CNSNews.com waslaunchedon June 16, 1998 as a news source for individuals, news organizations and broadcasters who put a higher premium on balance than spin and seek news that's ignored or under-reported as a result of media bias by omission.

Study after study by the  CNSNews.com, clearly demonstrate a liberal bias in many news outlets - bias by commission and bias by omission - that results in a frequent double-standard in editorial decisions on what constitutes "news."

In response to these shortcomings, MRC ChairmanCNSNews.com in an effort to provide an alternative news source that would cover stories that are subject to the bias of omission and report on other news subject to bias by commission.
