My CSB

I was an RA in college. As such I was neither well-liked, nor terribly hated. Anyway, some friends and I took a trip to Canada and came back with loads of pictures. My COMP-SCI friend decided to put them in a private folder on the school's server.

These pics involved copious amounts of booze and as the legal age in Canada is 19, we were technically underage in the states, so with no evidence to prove we were in Canada, the pictures could have been quite troublesome. As it happens, one of my residents stumbled across the photos and decided to print one out and post it up around the building.

Of all the possible photos he could have chosen, he grabbed the one of me holding a massive bottle of.... apple juice. It just so happened the label was in French and the kid had no idea what it was.

As long as it's not you, but someone with your common name and age doing stupid sh*t in Facebook photos, why not include a small photo of yourself with the resume? It wouldn't be a vanity thing. You could paste it into your references section, with a short note along the lines of, "This is me, I'm not the drunk chick drawing dicks on the passed out roommate." Granted, you would word it more professionally.

There are only a few people with who share my name and age on Google, and thankfully they're all pretty successful guys. But one day, someone with my name is gonna post pics of himself teabagging a Golden Retriever. You have to be vigilant about this.
