CSHSB (cool second hand story, bro)...A few years ago, a close friend got on an elevator in NYC and Ann Curry was the only other occupant. He told me he noticed who she was but quickly turned away because he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. However Ann said,"Hello! How are you?" and extended her hand. He introduced himself and they briefly chit chatted until he got off the elevator.

homelessdude: FTA: If Ann were to just quit, there is a non-compete clause, which would prohibit her from working for another news outlet for two years," a source told RadarOnline.com.

Oh Ann, please quit.

Oh NBC, please enforce that non-compete clause if she does.

So, the thought of Ann Curry working as a reporter so offends you that you want her to stop working for two years?

What goes wrong with your life that you want someone who has a solutely no influence on your life to be out of work?

Speaking of people jumping networks... just noticed Norah O'Donnell is on CBS now (guess it's been awhile, but, never really noticed til seeing her on Face the Nation this weekend).

Anyway... she is hot.

A lot of people didn't like Ann Curry, but I thought she was good.  Chocolate and vanilla I guess.

Matt Lauer is on thin ice, and they're grooming Willie Giest to step in, and he's not ready.  Meanwhile, the hardest working guy at NBC News is Lester Holt.  That guy does the Weekend Today regularly, and takes on anything they throw at him.  I've noticed him do the Today Show, then do NBC Radio News all day, then anchor Dateline the same night.  And they're going to pass him over again because he doesn't fill the right gender/race ratio formula they have on the Today Show.

Lester, jump off that ship and find someplace that will give you the respect you're due.
