Good for AP. It's astounding that in the era of the QB and the passing game taking over the league that we see another 2,000-yard rusher. Especially after ACL surgery barely a year ago.

He also set a record for the most people not giving a shiate about all the HGH he had to take for that "miraculous" recovery.

That's surprisingly accurate....none of the Packers seemed to want to tackle him

Ok, ok. He's good. Let's talk about the playoffs now.

It really says something when every single team that played against Minnesota KNOWS they don't have fark-all for offense outside of AP and Percy, and stacks at LEAST 8 in the box on every single play...and he STILL gets 100+ per game EVERY week. There were times when there were 9 in the box and he still gained positive yards.

AP just isn't goddamned human.

This. I seriously wonder if they can do much better at lambeau field on Saturday. Not saying the Vikings will win but i can't see how the Packer's will be much able to slow up AP

It's interesting to me. I'm wondering if we'll see a return to more run based offenses, a sort of swinging the pendulum back m.

With the rules being so favorable to passing, defenses are obviously being built to try to stop the pass, which makes me wonder if we might see teams return to huge offensive lines and big backs to pound on the smaller pass rushing lineman and coverage LBs the league is moving towards.

AD's yards after contact would have placed him 16th in the league in total rushing yards.

There are offensive lines that average 330+ pounds. How much huger can they get?

Football stats are becoming like baseball stats.

The Saints broke the most yards allowed record?

Wow. The Colts team that previously held that one was legendarily terrible. It's the team Elway refused to be drafted to, which I thought was a pussy-ass move for years, until I read about just how farked up the organization was at the time.

Stupid question. How are both of these situations possible at the same time?
-Brady extended his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 48, passing Johnny Unitas for the second-longest streak behind Drew Brees.
-Brady also became the first NFL quarterback to throw a touchdown pass in all 16 regular-season games in three straight seasons

Was Brees hurt and they are they only counting consecutive games played, not actual consecutive games?

Brees' record stretches across four separate seasons, including the end of the first, the beginning of the fourth, and all of the second and third.

Looking at it, Brees started the streak midseason, went 2 seasons, then ended it during a season best I can tell

For #6, I meant he hasn't beaten them in back-to-back games, as in, two games in a row (not in consecutive weeks, bro).

For #8, most Packer fans think Chmura is a piece of shiat. I haven't met one that doesn't.

And for #9, I would say 1996 Favre was better than 2009 Favre, considering he did win the SB that year (and the stats are pretty similar, despite Favre not having a running game that year).

In any case, I am going to go watch some Youtube clips of the Packers winning the Super Bowl. Why don't you do the same with the Vikings? Oh, wait...

Yeah, but even as a Packer fan, that whole situation was farked up. Just sayin, Fark's Packer apologists are on record, defending their player, who raped someone's kid's baby-sitter, in his friend's hot-tub, because it was a Packer, and the team would suffer as a result, and Packer fans would rather hide systematic genocide of an entire race if it meant a single player on their team wasn't punished for his atrocity.

If Hitler was Vince Lombardi, no one in Wisconsin would bat an eye.
