Someone read my mind (or my submission). Thanks for the thread and happy new year.

Fulham dressed for the wrong holiday it seems

I don't get some of the headline references. A little help?

My headline. I've finally learned not to try and include ! in the submission.

FFPL report to follow shortly.

Good one. What about the wizard's sleeves?

I never cease to be amazed at the speed with which Berbatov accelerates from a walk to an amble.

I may - just may mind you - have been referring to the form of Fulham. No historical connection to prestidigitation as far as I'm aware.

To wake you up on this New Years, here's Clarence Seedorf singing Sitting on The Dock of The Bay.

FFPL Report - Round 20

farm9.staticflickr.com

Your FFPL report for Round 20.

The top - Same as it Ever Was. Cognitive_Displaysia back in the saddle. Kcostell represents AFC Wimbledon in the top 4, moving up 2. Clearly only supporters of small teams can do well at Fantasy Fitba. Ahem.

The Bottom - The_Known_Universe gets off to a sticky start, hobbled by a -30 for an incorrect banker. She'll fit right in.

Top score of the round went to Adubs86 with 120, closely followed by lost_limey and JuicePats on 110.

Four-way tie for deflation, with the_man_of_pa, martissimo, StRalphTheLiar and tom_the_servo_bit_me all having 60pts liposucked out of them. Auto-picked to death? Possibly.

TottenhamLukewarmspur on -50, having definitely done it to himself. Notable pick of a -30 banker on a 1-1 for QPR Vs Liverpool, which I'm sure made sense at the time, under the influence of those drugs, after that head-wound. He bags the most precipitous drop of the week, down 6 slots.
JuicePats up 6, Norfolkingchance up five slots in the peloton. JuicePats swaps with bjmichel on Page 1/2.

Presidency of the Banker Bonus club switches to Kcostell on the basis of risk and rank. Joined on 20pts by JuicePats and mitchcumstein1. Remarkably, StRalphTheLiar retains his 20BB, even with a -60 outcome.

Trying to decide to put my banker on Arsenal to beat Southampton after a 4 game win streak or on Swansea to beat Villa after Villa have let in close to 20 unanswered goals. Went with Swansea and hoping for the best.

Announcers are taking the piss out of Berbatov and his "Keep Calm and Pass me the Ball" T shirt following that gaffe

Not to steal my own thunder, but I believe kcostell also had +120 last week.

Ham vs Mustard is West Ham vs Norwich City. Norwich being the home of Colemans Mustard. Also the kit is bright yellow like mustard (and the colour of Colemans)

As much as I love watching Berba play, I'm honestly starting to believe we'd play better without him. He drops too deep, and we haven't had an honest striker since September. And once he gets frustrated it's like playing with 10 & 1/2 men.

Plus with him needlessly taking Ruizs role, we have no striker. All creation and no one to actually finish.

One comment I heard is that he only plays at home. Away is a liability. I'm coming round to that point of view.

See?!

Fulham fans have me to thank for that goal.

I took 50-1 odds on Berba to score first in a 1-0 victory. I won't hold my breath though

Seeing the work Unfreakable does getting HOTY contests to the masses makes me realise how lucky we are that he looks after our niche market here. Every game. And for that I'm grateful. Thank you sir.

And with that I'm done being nice for 2013. The rest of you are c*nts. Yes, you. *Especially* you.

Looked offside to me. Such is Fulhams luck these days though.

What the hell did Steve Clarke say during half time?

West Brom have gone from zzzzzzzzz to full on coke head mania

2013-01-01 08:57:44 AM
Just tuning in ... Why are Fulham dressed like the Cincinnati Bengals?

2013-01-01 08:57:55 AM
Wow. How was that not a goal?!

Thank you for the kind words, sir.

I can see this game going either way TBH. Both back-lines are getting more than their share of luck, Fulham are much more patient (trolling-the-crowd patient) but Brom are much more of a threat.

2013-01-01 09:34:44 AM
Fulham were lucky there.

2013-01-01 09:39:55 AM
Best -10 FFPL pts I'll get all year! Ugly towards the end, but damned if I won't take a win away to start off the new year. Maybe the ugly orange kit brought some luck?

So thats the standard of reffing in the game then.

West Ham have been handed the game by the ref. Bullshiat penalty

He doesn't cut the mustard?

Also - early goal against Villa. Just what they need to help their confidence.

Pretty awesome.
