They took what was probably a 16 megapixel image, shrank it to 679~x1024 and compressed it down to a 22Kb JPG.

They could have turned it sideways, not compressed 15.9 MB of data out of it and gotten an astonishing high quality desktop image.

Instead, they made it taller and skinnier then iPhone vertical video, and compressed it until the blacks are full of red blocks, the soyuz has a halo of pixels surrounding it, and the moon is farking blocky.


It's a farking picture from farking space, you farking moron. Go take your own photo since you're so... fark!!!!!!

I love photos like this. They always remind me that my problems don't amount to a hill of beans in this world. Or in this case, galaxy.

Nice find, subby, although I was disappointed not to see Kang or Kodos.
