Seriously considering this, but the elevation goes WAY UP in just a couple of miles...

did this a few years ago, and starting to get excited about doing it again. So far the plan is about the same as last time...

check weather friday morning before race.
if weather good, pack up and drive to mexico.
Stop before border for insurance.
Drive south to Rosarito and find sidewalk taco stand.
eat like kings.
Drive a bit farther south about 20 mins until bottom of big hill.
Cliffside parking and camping should be available.

Saturday, race.
pay entry fee, ride, drink, ride, drink, 50 miles and several stops later, finish.
eat lobster

restaurant next to campsite is empty, order chorizo and eggs.
drive to rosarito, order beers on the pier.
