I moved from Pasadena to Atlanta in 05

Traded in my long time clipper allegiance for the hawks since I could no longer stay up late enough to support the clips and watch their games.

I love this clipper team but don't feel like I am a fan anymore.

LOL @ regular season NBA.

All this means is they won't be one of the four teams to not make the playoffs.

Huh? Way too much exaggeration to even be in the neighborhood of actual sarcasm. Most bizarre comment of the year.

Sorry I still don't see them beating the spurs, lakers or thunder in a 7 game series

Lakers? I don't care for the Clippers, but unless a major trade happens, the Lakers are a border line playoff team at best. The Lakers have no way to stop the fast break without setting up trip wires or tiger pits.

Sorry, seven. Eight teams make the playoffs, seven don't.

Still, more teams make the playoffs than teams that don't. And my point that the NBA regular season is a joke stands.

The best team they beat throughout their streak was the 16-12 Bulls. Didn't play any of the top 4 teams in the East or the other 5 teams currently below them in the west.

Good job on them for staying focused night to night, but I'm not too impressed.

The Clippers' per-game point differential is +10.5. Their average game is a double-digit win. That's just nuts. Not sure whether their schedule gets tougher from here though.

I'm still not in on the Lakers, though that could change as they get more used to each other. As for the Clippers vs. the Thunder or Spurs, I'd expect a long, competitive series. Couldn't call it either way at this point.

14 Don't make it. 16 do. That's not the problem. There just aren't enough upsets in the first round in the of the NBA playoffs. Now that players flock to only elite teams/cities, Lakers, Knicks, etc., the final 8 or in some years, the final 4, is where the real basketball begins.

The Clippers are too athletic for the Lakers and have a great set of guards, the bane of the Lakers currently.

They match up well with the Thunder because of their athleticism and size, and took 3 of 4 from the Thunder last year, including winning at OKC.

The Spurs are the hard matchup of the bunch because they play as close to perfect basketball as is possible in the NBA, and the Clippers struggle against that because they're so loose. Injuries hurt them against the Spurs last year, but I think it was a foregone conclusion for them to lose. This year they have the depth to challenge that, but the Spurs are definitely their toughest challenge in the NBA.

Which is why they needed Phil Jackson to come back and coach. Just have him yell at the refs for 3 quarters and the Lakers will be OK.

They have 9 roads in January, with 2 back-to-backs, plus a "home" game against the Lakers and other homes v. OKC, Port, and GS as well. Feb is a big road month as well.

December was definitely favorable for them, but anytime you can put together 17 straight in the NBA you're doing something right.

I'd love to believe that since I despise the lakers but come playoff time I can see the lakers pulling it together and getting to at least the WCF, just a hunch and I do hope I'm dead wrong

The only team I see the Clippers struggling with now in a seven-game series would be OKC and maybe Memphis. That said, it's a long season, but damn if they don't look good right now.

I knew the Clippers would go on a tear when I heard that Chris Paul had a list of "Clipper records" -- except the records were of Clippers sucking.

Chris Paul has the organization letting him know of for example if such and such team.......

Matter of fact, here is the article.

So yea he has them keyed in for the regular season.

But what happens in the playoffs when the Clippers bench isn't playing against the opposing team's inferior bench?

Teams will shorten to a 7, MAYBE 8 man rotation with their best players putting in heavy minutes.

We'll find out how good Eric Bledsoe and Crawford are then.
