Loved the book, hated the mini-series.

Personally, I am conflicted. Part of me whats to me on the side of good. But, part of me wants to party in Veags with all the sinful girls.

I won't say I hated the series, but I liked the book far better.

Did like the imagery for Flagg in the series though. The actor had a good face for it.

Man, I had a bad case of the flu while travelling on public transport once and it is not an experience I'll soon forget. Hope she'd managed to fall asleep when it took her, poor thing.

I had a sinus headache on a transatlantic flight once. One of the most miserable experiences of my life. Never board a plane with even a mild sinus headache, trust me.

Flu can come on fast. I had a slightly raw feeling in my throat before I boarded my train, which I assumed was from yelling to make myself heard over the music in a night club. I was well on my way before I started shivering and aching all over and desperately counting the miles to home.

Time to start that survivor cult.
I'm gonna have to stock up on brown hooded robes.

Well, your corn harvest failed. Last time that happened you bought up most of the corn in the Middle East so you could have your high fructose corn syrup, which lead to food riots which eventually kicked off the Arab Spring.

So... give it time.

Oh jesus. I made that fool decision once. I was amazed to feel tears flowing from my eyes, before I realized I was sobbing uncontrollably. Efffff that, I'd rather reschedule an entire vacation than go through that ever again.

2012-12-30 07:38:40 PM
yea i suppose flu can come on fast etc.

and upon further rational thinking it could be psychosomatic.after seeing the first sick elderly person, its possible ppl panic and mirror symptoms in closed environments i.e. train plane.

but i only say that because i saw it on house once or something, god knows t.v. has never lied to me before.

non the less, i may back hand the next person i see hacking open mouthed on public transit. or, flee, i havent decided yet.

guess your not paying attention eh? 2012 drought world wide, floods where we dont want them, world food reserves down to 40%, official warning from some global organization i cant remember the name off, russia stops exporting grains. etc and so forth. oh yea, food cost went up 2. i work in the kitchen for a living, food cost goes up, they fire people low on the ladder and crack the whip on the ones they keep.

and non the less by the numbers im pretty sure there are more people starving today then ever before, there is 7.5 now 7.6 wait 7.7 billion people. shiat 7.8, 7.9....
