Ok, in the url, if you eliminate everything after the ?gwh= then refresh, you can get past the paywall.

You can only read 10 articles a month for free but anything after that you have to pay for.

Or you could delete the cookie that they use to track your number of visits and get as many as you want.

Hence the reason why gozar-the-destroyer gets to bang Mrs. Kritter day and night, night and day.

thanks that's useful, tho on mine (in Chrome) I had to take out everything from just before the ?

that was after I found a Chrome add-on called Edit This Cookie, which lets you just right-click on any page and then delete all the relevant cookies

alternatively if you don't want to risk the download, you can right-click on the page, select Inspect Element, then Resources, then Cookies, then www.nytimes.com - but they each have to be deleted individually

Just to point out that almost all those graphics are wrong. And not just wrong, but wrong in almost every way. In the 512 paths one, of 512 paths, only 398 of them added up correctly, and 12 of those only added correctly because multiple mistakes cancelled each other out.

The basketball one doesn't even make sense. First of all, then points per region is a stupid coding choice. It should be point/per shot heatmap. But even if you allow this poor choice, the graphic doesn't work. Look at the attempts and points. They are ALL in error except for the size of the hexagon representing total points in that region. Almost every aspect of that graphic was wrong.

The diving graphic was backwards.

Etc. etc.

Should be called the worst graphics of all time compilation.

Step 1: install Google Chrome
Step 2: read the new york times in "Incognito mode"

There is no step three
