What's with all the pictures of groups of people standing around in alleyways, looking pissed off about something? Are they homeless and angry because their shows got cancelled?

Ever since they announced the cancellation of SGU, I've been on a hunger strike. I'm down to 500 pounds now.

I guess we were the only two that watched it. That explains it.

Make that 4 people who watched it - add me and my sister. We loved it!

Those numbers would have been good enough for the CW.

I`m beginning to suspect FOX is contractually obliged to cancel any shows I might like in the network.

Knight of the Woeful Countenance: The best part about Leverage was the scattered pop culture references throughout it.

You had to be sharp to pick a lot of 'em up, but they ranged from Community to Doctor Who to... pretty much anything you can think of.

YES!

I loved the episode where Hardison's in danger in a hospital and he pages for "Dr. Ralph O'Khan" (Wrath of Khan) to let Eliot know he needs help.

As a guy who loves pop culture-based humor, I ate that stuff up with a spoon and fork, man.

If Batman is drunk on sherry by 3 p.m. every day and Superman is farking the receptionist at the Hall of Justice and rubbing it in Batman's face, you're basically describing my parents.

Back when we were a Neilsen house, we had "viewing parties" for The Tick and Lone Gunman. It didn't help, I had a sad.

We were like Neilsen poison, anything we watched got the worst possible bag over the head treatment.

Came in here to point this out.

Also, Law and Order? Holy crap! That show had seventy-three seasons. Enough is enough.

As for me, they always bump good sci-fi before it has a chance to take off. The three most recent examples in my mind were Journeyman, FlashForward, and The Event. And yes, the Sarah Connor Chronicles needed to continue.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: Even though it didn't make the record-setting number of episodes that it hoped to, I question the placement of Law & Order in this article.

Not surprised to see Leverage here, as I loved the hell out of that show.

It didn't get a whole lot of attention, but if I were writing an article of this nature, I'd include BBC's Survivors (not to be confused with CBS's reality series Survivor). It was a virus apocalypse show about a ragtag group of survivors in the UK. It had great characters, an interesting premise, and an excellent execution, but they axed it after 12 episodes spread over two seasons (and on a frustratingly inconclusive cliffhanger ending, of all things).

If you liked Leverage, check out the British series "Hustle" it was based on. And "the Real Hustle" where con men show you how to be a grifter.

Brick-House: Shows come and go, that's just the nature of the beast. What I hate is shows that have an ongoing story arc that gets canceled. Have a season finale with a cliff hanger and never bring it back. Way to treat the fans. Terra Nova, Star Gate Universe, Sarah Connors, to name a few. I would like to leave a few of these producers hanging from a cliff.

I understand the bottom line is the bottom line, but have a plan to end it cleanly!!!
