"I woke up twice in the middle of the night to pee" is more like it for me.

And this is what Leo looks like toasting today.

He doesn't really look that much different.

33. Kids born today will have no idea what these taste like:

As has been pointed out MANY times here, the odds of Twinkies and Ding Dongs vanishing from existence are unlikely. Walmart, Kroger and a couple other companies are already looking at acquiring the brand.

Bob Saget was already tall. Why'd he go and have neck extension rings inserted?

What makes me feel old is that I don't recognize most of those pop culture references.

I think he played a boyfriend of one of the daughters.  If memory serves, he also provided the voice of Aladdin for Disney's "Aladdin."  I could IMDb that, but I don't feel like it.

Well, that's...that's just fine.  Thanks for that link, subby.  You ass.  *cries*

Naw, kidding.  I have my Fark system message birthday wishes from the last couple of years still at the top of the screen, just to remind me every day how friggin' old I am.  That, and my aw-thuh-RIII-tiss.

40 ish? Ike was president when I was born.

Hie thee from my greensward!

2012-12-28 09:34:11 PM
Paul Ryan, who could have been vice president, was born in the 70s.  I was already watching Scooby Doo and Josie & The Pussycats when that dude was born.

I discovered Fark when I was 36, and I'll be 50 next year.  Which is almost this year.  Gah.

I remember watching Full House when it first started.  I can't believe I'm old enough now to have watched a TV show during it's first season......25 years ago.

The current version of the "Problem Child" dude is one brooding hottie, if ya ask me. The long reddish hair works.

Relatively Obscure: Blink 182 lady? I'd still hit it.

From the looks of it, she'd hit back.  Probably harder than you would.

Technically it's 33 things, tfa author kind of didn't notice the recent news that Hostess is getting close to selling off the snack cake line to other companies.

Past that, nothing in that list made me feel old until I ran across the SNES tidbit.

That made me sad.

Someone told me Jurassic Park turns 20 next year.

34 comments!?!?!? What does this mean?

I was expecting them to mention that Pearl Jam's Ten turned twenty this year...
I suppose with all the little-old-men in this thread already it's a bit lame. But I turn thirty in two weeks, I'm  not so much looking forward to it.

The fact that the author of that article calls Janine "the Blink-182 lady" makes me feel older than anything.

Fark this lame-ass list.

I'm 54. I don't recognize or give two shiats about two-thirds of these entries.

The rest don't really move me after realizing there's a whole generation that has never lived in a pre-MTV world.

As a 56 year old cross between Brad Pitt and Leo DeCaprio, I don't feel old.
When my 48 year old rock star neighbor and pal tries to hit on a 23 year old waitress and she rebuffs him, I don't feel old. When I go back for lunch the next day and she remembers me as the guy with no cell phone glued to his ear in a self important posture and didn't stare at her tits, and comes on to me, and I miss the pass, I feel old.

They were real, and they were fantastic.

Going in for lunch tomorrow, alone.
Fer chrissakes, she's 23, but adorable and has no idea how much I'm worth, so she's got that going for her.
