Pichu0102: This viral marketing for Saints Row 3 is getting out of hand.
uncleacid: Anti-aircraft, Anti-tank?
A Shambling Mound: She's probably lucky she's not dead.
Gyrfalcon: My GPS device said her house was just on the other side of this fence. And across this field. It didn't say ANYTHING about "National Guard Armory". Why are you all pointing those guns at me?
DigitalCoffee: Or she could try her luck with a General Courts Martial. I hear that Leavenworth in January is a once in a lifetime experience.
MythDragon: DigitalCoffee: Or she could try her luck with a General Courts Martial. I hear that Leavenworth in January is a once in a lifetime experience.Actually, if you have to go to prison, Leavenworth is the place to go. (Mil side, you don't want Leavenworth Federal)I was assigned to Leavenworth twice. (First and last duty assignment). As far as prisons go, it's pretty damn decent. You really don't have to do anything there anymore.Back in the early 90's they were almost self sufficent. They raised their own beef, grew crops on a farm, and had prison shops like a greenhouse, metal and wood shop where you could get furnature made, a prison carwash where you could get a full wax job for about 20 bucks (Just don't leave a pistol in the car for the prisoners to find like some dumbass Major) and a prison barber shop you could go to if you didn't mind a prisoner standing behind you with a razor. They also did chores like raking, landscaping, and mowing. You'd see a line of like 12 prisoners staggered in a row with lawnmowers mowing down whole fields. Then it all started to stop. The prisoners couldn't cut grass anymore. Why? 'It was too demeaning to them' Farking seriously. Guess who got to cut grass then? Us soldiers. Doing work that was 'too demeaning' for prisoners.Hell one time we had to run fiber optic cable though the sewers under the prison. The poo was all in pipes, but they still leaked a bit. We asked for prisoner assistance because we had only a few people and some long runs. No dice. It was 'too unsanitary' for the prisoners down there. Not for me though!.The trustee unit (good behavior, less than a year to go) did unsupervised stuff like painting and whatnot, and got to shop at the PX before it opened. The max security kinda sucked probably, but the mid and lower security had their doors opened and got to wander about the prison during the day. Then they built them a brand new facility and moved everyone out of the old prison. Nicer rooms, better facilitie ...
MythDragon: You need at least 5 years to go to Leavenworth, but from what I saw of the prison (went behind the walls 5 or 6 times for computer stuff) it wasn't at all bad, as far as prisons billets go.
