It was a punk move but jawing with Sessions afterward just makes him look like a clown.

fark Dwyane Wade.

i still remember that play, i think it was the 2006 NBA Finals, where Dirk Nowitzki is guarding Wade who has the ball.  There was a switch after a pick or whatever.  Wade dribbles with his left hand, pushes Dirk to the ground with his right and Nowitzki gets called for the foul.  Wade could have stomped on Nowitzki's junk repeatedly during that game and Nowitzki still would have been called for the foul.

The guy did commit a foul before getting racked, so, continue with your outrage.

The 2006 finals were a travesty, outdone only by the outrageous officiating in the 2002 Kings-Lakers series. And you know D-Wade's career is definitely on the downhill slide when Stern actually suspends him.

Thanks for bringing that up. I thought I was over it but now just thinking about it is causing my blood pressure to go up. Bennett Salvatore should have been thrown in prison for that series.

Is this pretty much a consensus opinion? I remember the series vaguely, but not really any controversy around it. I just remember it being when Shaq got "one more than Kobe."

After I asked, I went to the Googles. It looks like even Phil Jackson has said he thinks it was rigged as not so much FOR the Heat, but against Cuban. Interesting.

Not my opinion and I don't care about either team. I thought the referreeing was pretty consistent in that they were awarding aggressive players. Not saying they were good calls, but if you went to the basket hard you were getting the call, whether there was contact or not. Wade realized this and went to the basket every damn time and got a call.

The Mavs in that series, and especially Dirk, were shooting way too many jumpshots. I remember yelling at the TV for Dirk to take it to the basket or post a guy up instead of taking 20 foot fadeaway one-foot shots on guys 6 inches shorter than him. I thought he played really soft in that series and hung on the perimiter too much.

I really wanted to give the ref the benefit of the doubt and maybe think that he thought it was a flop, but Wade kicked the shiat out of his nuts. There is no way that that could have seemed accidental to anyone whose eyes are good enough to see the initial foul by Sessions.

All crewman is saying is that the headline is stupid for even bringing up that a foul was called on Sessions. He did foul, which was what initiated the whole thing.

btw, no one gets ejected for intentional groin shots. Remember Bruce Bowen on Steve Nash in the playoffs? KG on Channing Frye? Nothing for those guys.

It should be banned from ESPN. I don't think I can stomach any more of LeBron's reaction tweets to general happenings around the NBA, or anything else for that matter. Seriously ESPN... if I cared about LeBron's opinion on anything I'd get his tweets myself.

Looked to me like the foul was already called before the kick in the groin. Not sure there's any outrage there. That said, he definitely meant to knee the guy.
