Thanks to Arian Foster's heart, I lost my fantasy league this year. Not bitter or anything.

Thanks Arian for getting ZERO points last week, and probably costing me the office FF championship.

Bless your heart.

Smart fantasy players are prepared to cope with irregular heartbeats, migraines, and congenital heart defects felling athletes moments before stepping into the ring onto the field.

Well that is just cuter than a platypus riding a unicorn being herded by a pack of corgis.

I love my Texans dearly -- enough to call them that aloud instead of Toros and only feel kinda dumb -- but we have made out like bandits as far as our players' personalities go. Foster is one of the best in the league in Twitter, even when he isn't admitting to vehicular frog-icide.

/Hope this is a once-off situation for his heart

He his my favorite non-Cowboys player & a lot of that has to do with what I see from him on the tweeters. Oh and also the way he runs like a beast on the field. That guy needs to be a role model for other players in the league. Class act all the way.

Yeah, except that's impossible and that's what sucks about FF. I know you're joking but here were my RBs: Foster, Gore, Peterson, Greene. You tell me which two you would have played. Go on, I'll wait.

Shonn friggin Greene had the highest score. Even with a stud week from Roddy White, Russell Wilson and Mike Williams, I lost 292 to 314 (two highest scores btw) to the RB combo of: CJ Spiller and Mark Ingram. Now, you tell me how exactly to "prepare to cope". You tell me with a straight face you would have played Greene over Foster.

Sorry, FF rant over. I did get lucky all year with Peterson though.

Between the stellar performances by both him and Joshua Freeman, I half expect the NFL players to demand a shorter season. Or, at least, FF team owners to demand one.

So as bad as it sucks, take consolation in the fact that you would never start Shonn Greene (no one should) and that even if you started Gore you would have lost (he had a terrible week).

No worries, chan.catiewayne.com

I don't hold it against you for starting a stud back with no reason to be held back at the time. The injury bug takes us all down at some point. I just took all my lumps earlier this year to fall short of the playoffs. The post-Gronk/McGahee week was an especially big hit, but I also took some Jordys and Amendolas in my time. You just had bad luck going almost all the way before catching a fan-ful of faeces. It's Pats fan territory and sometimes you just have Danny Woodhead your way through a week for no good reason.

/Listen to this dude Rufus

I don't think the adults making unfathomable wealth playing a child's game once a week necessarily want people to straighten out their priorities.
