Man, I wish I could find the pamphlet my parents came up with when they found out I was playing D&D as a kid. I've looked online a few times and haven't found it. No, it wasn't a chick tract. I remember it had a story about a kid killing his parents for a +1 sword and it had a list of everything D&D "led to" which included, of all things, Jungian philosophy (ooh, archetypes). I wish I still had it to marvel at its silliness.

So where were we? Oh yeah... so you fall through the hole in the basement of the tavern and are in a 10' x 10' perfectly square dungeon room, obviously the lair of a geometrical perfectionist or an architect who only had graph paper from 'Staples' to work with. Exists are north and south.

What about east and Dennis?

Ya know, I had typed 'Dennis' but then figured that not many people would get it, so I edited it out. Going with my first instinct then...

".. you light your torch and notice that the exits are North, South, East and Dennis."

Nothing is obscure on Fark (or so I'm told).

If I caught the reference, it can't be obscure.
