MaudlinMutantMollusk: //humans are sadistic///who knew?
MaudlinMutantMollusk: Ah... found it link/different study, same result//humans are sadistic///who knew?
Diogenes: You're like the Repeat Enforcer today!
MaudlinMutantMollusk: Maybe not everyone, but certainly a lot of them it would seem
doglover: MaudlinMutantMollusk: Maybe not everyone, but certainly a lot of them it would seemNo, I mean everyone knows humans are sadistic.
SmackLT: I'd sort of like to understand if every swerve was attributed to an attempt to hurt the turtle. Depending on what was on the right/left of me when I saw it, if I saw a turtle at the last moment, I might try and drive more directly over it where it passed under my car but not in the path of the tires--rather than swerve around it and into an oncoming vehicle in the opposing lane.I presume that this study differentiated for something like that. I hope it did.
snocone: Anyone else channeling the commercial w/ the squirrel and the bridge out?I love ya, man!
abhorrent1: What kind of asshole would think running over an animal is fun? I'd like to run those people over. That WOULD be fun.
Gunther: doglover: MaudlinMutantMollusk: Maybe not everyone, but certainly a lot of them it would seemNo, I mean everyone knows humans are sadistic.Going by the article, one in fifty humans is sadistic, or at least; sadistic enough to try to kill a harmless animal for no reason and no possible benefit to themselves. Which admittedly is pretty goddamn sadistic.
adammpower: hopefully these people are later hit by cars and have just enough time to think about it before impact.

doglover: I'd smile if one of the turtle killers was in turn run over by a car and died.
loonatic112358: it's revenge on those damn koopa troopers/My house is in the path of the local turtle migrations, so I do stop and move them out of the road and into the pond, or I at least get them across the street. I also have to get them out of my yard, they sneak under one side of my chainlink fence, but tend to get stuck on the other side,.
BoboRod: Squirrels yes. Turtles, no. Armadillos, meh.
