Awwww....The would-be armed robber was upset at being sideswiped. He should count his blessings that he's alive to serve his time.

I see no problem with holding a dumbass at gunpoint if they rammed you. You never know if they're going to try to finish their attempted murder of you.

How do you get released by posting only 10% of $10k bail?

/Just in case I get hauled off to the hoosegow someday.

Why do the media always list firearms by their make and caliber such as Glock 9mm? Do they write that a person was driving a Ford V4?

If only the other guy had also had a gun and had been able to stand his ground, then we'd have a safe and happy ending. America will only be safe when everyone is armed everywhere they go.

I didn't run him over with a Chevy Traverse, I stood my ground and opened fire with a self-propelled 50000mm projectile

The driver of the Chevy hit the guy with the TV. When the guy in the car went over to the Chevy, the driver pulled a gun on him.

Yeah, but what if you are the dumbass who rammed somebody else. Do you then pull your gun on them? Because that's what the dumbass did.

"Ernst Simeon's Chevrolet Trailblazer was passing a car on the left when he struck it. The two vehicles then pulled to the side of the road"

Ernst is the one charged with waving his gun around. The wording of the article leads us to believe Ernst is at fault by hitting the other vehicle and is therefore an asshat.

Ernst goes to jail.

Your welcome.

Why, yes, they normally do, if that inforation is part of it. Like, for instance, in this case, one of them was driving a Trailblazer.

But it is interesting to know what kind of gun this guy happened to have on him.

Here I thought that Glocks were initially made for the police. It seems those things are really easy to come across.

Everyone should carry a gun at all times. You never know when you might be in a fender-bender and need to blow someone away.

Not a huge handgun nut but I tried a glock side by each with a Beretta and a CZ 9mm a while back and much preferred the CZ. I have pretty long fingers and the CZ just fit me better. Too bad they cost as much as a Beretta these days.

If your example were to hold consistent with my question, they would have told us that it was a Chevy V6 or Chevy V8. Trailblazer is the model. Hence, why do they say Glock 9mm instead of Glock 17 or Glock 26.

Because caliber suggests (to some degree) how much damage the gun could cause. In the case of the vehicles, it's clear that the Trailblazer would be totaled regardless of how many cylinders it had or what size the other vehicle was (or possibly even if it had just sideswiped a nice furry bunny).

Yup! i remember when i worked there about 10 years ago, one morning going to work at about 6:30am a fine New Jerseyian decided he felt slighted or that i had cut him off - so he gunned it to pull along side me and wave a pistol at me.

i'm from ny, so i just gave him the finger.

How did you get something 165 feet wide onto the interstate?

Simeon was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a handgun and aggravated assault.

Good thing gun laws work

can we all STFU about the guns already? There are guns. There are arseholes. What's the big deal?

There are also knives, and broken bottles, and dirty needles, and tasers, and arseholes.

Shouldn't we be talking about banning retards and arseholes, instead of tools?

Impossible, it's illegal to carry a gun in Jersey w/o a permit.

/if only there were more laws

To a journalist, anything with a trigger and barrel that fits in one hand is a Glock. Anything with a trigger and barrel that doesn't fit in one hand is an AK-47.

This is the appropriate response to a guy who pulls a gun on you ...
