theflatline: Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: Looks like the heritage of racism and treason isn't unique to "the south". Way to go yankees :)

As a brown skinned southerner I have only asked if i was puerto rican or mexican in the north and california, never in New Orleans...

To be fair, in the South they probably just think they're the same place.

olddinosaur: Nice to hear we are finally atoning for the massacre of 38 Indians.

Now, I would like to see someone come forward and prosecute the bastards who murdered 78 people at Waco Texas on April 19, 1993, and then arrested all whom they did not kill outright, placed them on trial on phony charges, and after they were acquitted of all but the moist trivial offenses, bribed a crooked judge to send them up for 40 years anyway, on an offence which should have rated 3 days, tops.

Persecution is not always a matter of race, and terrorism is legal in the USSA, as long as you wear the right uniform and work for the gummint.

Enjoy it while you can, bastards, free men are coming to kill you.

When we start hanging the Tea Party and Preppers, these small numbers will be forgotten.

They're holding back America. How long can we put up with them?

38 people.
Out of three hundred.
Because you spared the rest.
From a group you were at war with.
At a time when every other country worth a damn slaughtered folks by the thousands.

No wonder the Euros laugh at you all.

265 were given reprieves by Abe Lincoln but why did most of them end up dying in prison camp? Because the conditions were squaw-led! Hey-o! Don't forget to tip your waitress. I'll be here all week. Try the pemmican! But seriously folks, earlier this month, out of the blue, I started reading The Fiery Trial. The first thing I learned was that it was the 150th anniversary of the Fiery Trial speech that very day. He also covered this execution a little bit, and of course, the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation is next week.
