Why would he have access to hotel surveillance videos that the police didn't?

Of course a $1.5m drug debt is nothing to cops, that's only like an oz of weed for them

2012-12-26 08:41:30 PM
I doubt you'd kill someone who could make ten times that on one comeback tour.

You'd scare the shiat out of her, maybe kill someone close to her, but you don't kill the golden goose.

fusillade762: Why would he have access to hotel surveillance videos that the police didn't?

Due diligence.

You can find a dead man who has been struck by an old lady with an automobile and she's hysterical and the man's dead and that's the end of it for the cops.

Really digging into it, you could find out the old lady's been a bit short lately and Social Security ain't cuttin' the mustard these days. A nice young Russian man comes to her house and offers her a deal. She runs down John Doe and she ain't short no more. And my what fine young grandchildren she has at 234 Park Ave. and how nice it will be for Little Johnny if she would do this thing. All nice and verbal like. Gears turn, things happen, and here we are.

I think I would have cut her off at $750,000.  It's pretty obvious if someone runs up a $750k drug debt, they're not ever going to pay it off unless you stop giving them more.

From the sane side of things: If WHITNEY HOUSTON owes you some millions of money, killing her is not the same as just killing a mook off the street. She's more or less good for it as long as she's alive and performing.

Killing her just sends the message "Hey, our cartel doesn't wanna be paid and instead likes to kill famous people. Do business with us and you'll be certain the DEA and MSM will catch on. If you wanna go to jail, come play with us."

Seriously, the mob are super professional businessmen, especially when large sums of money are at stake, because hamfisted whacking a famous singer is exactly how operations are exposed to the authorities.

Hmm, it seems the National Enquirer is also claiming Hillary's concussion is a cover story for brain cancer. Those people are either seriously evil or Tommy Lee Jones was right about the real news being hidden in plain sight.

I do like her, and though this rumor is mostly going around right wing blogs, I do hope she is okay. A couple of week absence for someone in her position after a fall like that does leave me concerned. What have Bill and Chelsea been doing in their travels in the past two weeks?

I don't know, but a bunch of GOP Senators are saying they won't confirm Kerry until Hillary testifies on Benghazi. That, plus this headline will probably have the spin artists whispering that team Clinton leaked she has brain cancer just to get her out of testifying. You gotta love Washington.

And there's a difference between sending a message by whacking a low level rock slinger in Detroit and a beloved pop singer known to millions. Laurel Heights was a badass, murderin' gang until they accidentally hit a Catholic Priest in south America. Then shiat got BAD for them. Now they're a chapter of history, or at least everyone involved in that clusterfark is pushin' up daisies or in the pen.

If Whitney was a drug hit and if this guy actually blew the lid off it, that would be 10 kinds of retarded on the side of the drug cartel.

when you say "comeback tour" you are talking about porn right?

a) no one was lining up to see her screech out that one tuneless hit she had.

b) She was a complete and utter junky washout.

c) i find it hard to believe anyone would hand her a suitcase full of money after the fantasy tour you pine on about here so she could pay off her drug debts.

wasn't Whitney found with unexplained bruises in her bathtub?

Something happened, and it wasn't just a drowning.

2012-12-27 08:33:02 AM
Huebl suggested that Houston's death, while drug related, was precipitated by drug dealers attempting to collect money that they were owed, a supposed debt of up to $1.5 million.

So he is not saying she was murdered per se. He is implying that her creditors made a visit to her and she died during that visit? Maybe they held her underwater, which would explain the bruising and, possibly from the shock of too many drugs in her system had an OD and the dudes freaked out and left her in the bathtub to drown.

I wish I asked for a tinfoil hat for xmas.

i'm with this guy. Whitney was not good for ANYTHING at that point, and if she owed a huge HUGE drug debt there is little doubt that she was likely finally whacked over it. When you are a famous pop singer, 1.5 mil should be easy to take care of.

my guess is that someone's patience finally ran out with ol whitney here and the people she owed money to were tired of hearing excuses.

2012-12-27 08:44:05 AM
Rules of debt collect 101 when you're involved in illegal activity:

Never kill someone who owes you money, unless you really have the chutzpah to make a claim against the estate for coke money.

Further, as down on her luck as Houston may have been, she likely had several hundred thousand dollars worth of assets that could be quickly liquidiated.
