Until I actually started reading the article I thought they were hipsters and was trying to figure out if they were ironically celebrating the holiday or something.

I was praying while clicking that link that it would lead to an Onion article. Why is it never an Onion article when you want it to be?

That said, good on this girl. Amazing lack of selfishness for a ten year old who JUST LOST HER FATHER. Puts my own Christmas ordeal firmly in the "Get Over It You Pussy" category. I didn't feel like doing anything for my fellow man yesterday, much less feed the hungry and shelter the poor.

Bravo to her, and I hope I'm as cool as her when I grow up.

I don't smoke a lot of pot, but I just did. I have Velveeta Shells 'n Cheese in the cupboard, as well as 5 packs of Skittles (varying flavors) as a stocking stuffer.

 CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

There was a thread many years ago that got threadjacked into a food discussion when someone said they'd used chocolate syrup instead of butter in mac and cheese...

"There are latkes but it's usually never with people. I'm usually alone making latkes one day. It's a little depressing, but it has to be to get the true hipster Jew Hanukkah experience. It's gotta be a little bit lonely."

Two theories of mine at this point:

The experience was otherworldly and the flavors of the dish mixed with the existent high have left him in a cheesy, creamy rainbow state of euphoria...

Or the combination creates a lethal poison that acted too quickly for him to warn us.

Either way, he is lost to us now.
