The thing that struck me most about the Trump twitter meltdown was that it really undermined his self-created image of him being this multi-billionare real estate mogul, not so much by what he said, as by this question it raised: "So if you're so rich and successful, how do you have all this time to bash random celebrities on Twitter?"

I doubt at this point Donald Trump does much real work. From what I've heard, he's just a figurehead. The real dealmakers may bring him in during tough negotiations, or bring him in on a deal because he's famous.

What exactly did Trump think was going to come out of Obama's college transcripts? He wound up being a professor so his GPA couldn't have been that bad. Nevertheless, what grade he got in Algebra when he was 18 couldn't possibly compare to the shadiness in Romney's tax forms that he refused to release.

I find it hard to believe that half of these tweets by celebrities are actually written by them anyway. Most of the celebrities I've met can't activate a toaster. There must be professional tweeters. That'd be a good gig.

I always took it to be a dog whistle for an affirmative action admission. He was trying to say that Obama was actually really stupid and only got in because he was black. Even my brother who voted for Nader, Kerry, then Obama twice figured that Obama was. Just based on the fact that he is black.

I follow a bunch of design resource folks, comedians and a couple of people I find interesting. It can be somewhat useful and somewhat entertaining.
