Not the kid high on LSD sitting to her right? That kid's tripping balls.

AverageAmericanGuy: That kid's tripping balls.

Dude.  She's at a children's hospital.  He doesn't look ok because he's probably sick with something...or maybe its the drugs they gave him to help with why he's there in the first place.

And because it does look like he's tripping balls.

I always forget how big of a dog he is, until he makes the news again. I smiled pretty big, dogs are great. Merry Christmas farkers.

My 140lb Newfie is curled up in a ball at my feet...or at least the part of her that can snuggle on my feet.  She's a big, fluffy, gentle giant.

D'awww. My 42 lbs of black hearted cattle dog hell thinks she's a lap dog too. She LOVES story time and won't let the kid touch the pages.

I sure hope you love her ... You'rer paying for her $4 million bi-monthly vacation. Where was the $100K a year official dog handler? This was no accident, but obviously a staged photo-op, otherwise that handler would be in trouble.

She didn't used to be, but she's lost all of her sense of humor the last year or so. Bitter, bitter pup. She still likes story time though. And mauling squeaky rabbits.

Sounds familiar... mine liked to growl at me every time i shoved her ass over to make space for myself in my own bed, and leave baby bunnies in the basement for the cats to play with... never thought i'd say this, but lord i miss her laundry list of neuroses.. of course she also herded the cats, kept her toys more organized than i do my own, and had a pathological need to go out at least three times an hour... and i thought I had OCD..

Here in Australia (where we invented the damn things), we call 'em "land sharks"... they are, indeed, insane. And bitey.

75 lb black lab mix. Dogs like to be at the center of attention whether it's a keg stand or broken toe. The love for dogs is primal, subconscious. You've got to laugh.

I am waiting for the day when we have a President with a cat. I am going to go all out and find/make the most incredible ornament I can find, and then fill it with cat nip. And send it to them as a christmas gift. :-D

You know how grotesque the US right has become when even British Daily Mail readers condemn their comments as vile and unacceptable.

The Daily Mail. The paper that supported, to begin with, the rise of Hitler. They think you're scum. Says a lot.

I really like the Obama family. The President caught in Spiderman's web, all of the games they play with each other... You know the dog is used to snuggling with Michelle.

My black lab is chewing on her bone happy as can be.Bo is an awesome dog.

You can see he's used to doing that at home, signal or no signal, and she allows him to. No way if that dog is punished for doing that at home he does it here. Doesn't she take a tour of the hospital? Maybe she brings along Bo because she knows that it'll make the kids feel good. He's pretty popular and damn cute. Probably why all the First Ladies brought their dogs, so the kids could have a little fun with them.

I like the First Lady and think it was really cute. Shows she's human, when her dog sometimes won't listen to her and she tolerates the behavior.

It might come as a surprise to you, but there have been cats in the White House on and off, going back as far as when President Lincoln was in office. White House cats

D'awww... I just love Bo.

Spending Christmas at my parents' house with their golden retrievers, one of which is just a 3 month old widdlefuzzywuzzypuppykins and seriously freaking smart (it took like a day for him to learn to go to the door to go potty, and one try to learn "sit". Their last two retrievers were kinda dumbasses.) My poor pups are spending the holiday boarded at the vet. :-( It would have cost more to fly them than our human plane tickets cost.

I know that. But what is the point of sending a cat nip-filled ornament to the White House if there are no cats living there at the moment? I doubt that their dog will go nuts over cat nip and attack the tree to get to the ornament.

I liked this. Sometimes I've wondered what they were doing with that dog. But it looks like it's the classic story. The kids think it's their dog, but it's really mom's.

I adore Bo. He looks so cuddly. The whole family loves the dog, it's obvious. And that's how it should be.

I do love an ACD cross, but I've gotta tell ya - if she's 100% sweet, that's the beagle!! ;-) ACDs are never 100% sweet! ;-)
