Editing is hard.

I'm sure the Eodromaeus in the manger is just precious!

Looks like it's more just a holiday special.

I would go to see it for that price but I wouldn't take the kids. No need to confuse them or try to explain why I'm laughing so much.

Why would it confuse your children? You could tell them that it is ok to laugh at crazy xians. Seriously. The proper response to all religion is laughter. Or horror.

It's just across the river. I would go for free.

I paid the $50 for me and the wife to go and it was worth it. I'd like to go back but I don't want to give them anymore of my money. Ill consider it if its free.

I tried... the exhibits I could see from the entrance were enough, so I turned around and walked out. I *might* go through for free, but I doubt I could keep my mouth shut.

Apparently their biggest market is Atheists who've come to gawk. But they're quick to kick you out if you ask too many questions. I'm not making that up -- a museum that bans you if you desire to know more information about its exhibits. They have zero tolerance for trolls, pranksters and miscreants, much like their websites.

But how can it evolve if there is no such thing as evolution?

back to being a bag, huh. first off, Penn Jillette is a self-promoting over-sized big mouth goof with a fake mute man-child side kick. Pay them no mind.

second, a decent (educated, intelligent, understanding) parent a/k/a 'adult' would have the wisdom to see the bulk of the world's population have belief in some form of religion. that being the case, one should understand the importance of explaining to children what faith is, along with the differences of cults, religions etcetera. your children will most probably be in contact with these people the rest of their lives.  why not tell them of why peoples beliefs are important to those people. of the different major faiths of the world. of the reason why it's best not to trod upon others freedom to believe in and partake in a faith. and of course the many reasons why the above can be dangerous and what those dangers are.

meanwhile geniuses like yourselves need no reminder that there are other people who believe in scientific theories regarding mankind's creation / evolution. keyword being THEORIES. made up stories. maybes, we don't really know, we weren't really there.

those who behave superior and smugly believe in the theories of scientists are as big a fool as those in houses of worships that they choose to mock. you just choose to serve a different master because you lack imagination or have chose to close your mind on the matter at hand.

By saying this, you demonstrate conclusively that you do not understand the scientific method or how it operates, nor the philosophical basis thereof. Until you do, you're really not in any position to criticize. You're one of the believers who doesn't understand why you believe, only that you do. I recommend some reading on epistomology and scientific methodology before you post again in this thread or a similar one. You'll avoid making a fool of yourself that way.

Your ignorance is not as good as someone else's knowledge, no matter how much you might want it to be.

I don't think we should consider people who make fun of creationists to be trolls.

You do not understand the meaning of this word as it applies to science.

Theory: a coherent group of tested general propositions, commonly regarded as correct, that can be used as principles of explanation and prediction for a class of phenomena

Now that you know, you cannot use this tired argument ever again.

Although attendance is down, this "museum" has always offered a few free days throughout the year.

I believe it was a requirement, in exchange for all the tax-payer subsidies spent to build it. How sad that the novelty has seemed to have worn off, and those poor Kentuckian tax-payers are left holding the bag. Tragic, really.
