This one is good, but for Christmas MST3k "Santa Claus" (aka Santa Claus vs the Devil) tops all else.

I love that movie.  It's like having a fever dream after dropping acid while attending a seriously disturbed puppet show.

And a great example of the timeless conflict between Evil and The Narrator.

I think I prefer the other Santa MST3K episode. The one with Lupita and the Devil.

The Cinematic Titanic re-do is required watching as well. (Trailer) It's not free but worth the $$

Best line is when Droppo is trying to fatten himself up with food pills..."It's like watching Judy Garland, Mama Cass, and Gazoo off themselves all at once."

/Choach 'em if you got 'em.

You know, neither of these Santa movies are anywhere near as terrible as "Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny." Rifftrax has it. It will change your understanding of how bad film can be.

I've seen the original in a theater, and a few others such as Laserblast. No wonder I'm screwed up.

Pure comic gold.

Geeze, now I know how my posts 'read' when I say I can't understand what the big deal is about something that 99% of Fark thinks is awesome.

Sherman? You are either missing your sense of humor or you have no soul.

I really have to wonder... When the people who starred in that movie looked back on their lives as they were rocking on the porch of the old folks home...

What exactly did they see?

Other than Groppo. He's kinda a given.

I caught a few MSTed movies before they ended up on the show.

On TV, of course, not at the theater.

Oh, nice!

It was one of the first ones I've seen. It's one of the best regarded episodes, and for good reason.

Interestingly enough, the guy who plays Droppo CAN act. I think he won a Tony for playing Moonface Martin in a production of Anything Goes.

At the library I work at, we have a copy of the original movie. A staff member bought it at Target for 99 cents. Every person that returns it seems pretty unsatisfied with the rental. I always recommend them to watch the MST3K version.
