I've always thought about hair extensions, just out of curiosity of what I'd look like with long hair, but my untreated ADHD is so bad I can barely make it wherever I'm going without forgetting where I was going and why. I don't think I'd do  too well sitting in a salon for hours.

Maybe I'll start collecting wigs or something. I tend not to get in fights, so taunting should not be an issue.

Yeahhh, akvavit, don't try getting a weave from someone with no experience. It's not a good look.

There's lotsa different ways to get hair woven in, from literally sewing extensions into cornrows of your own hair, to mixing them in to your own hair as it is braided, to knotting it onto the underside of your hair (not a good look) to gluing pieces on in tiny clumps etc. But just stick with the clip ins. Hard to fark that up.

From what I've read, since there's a lot of pressure for black women to have straight/caucasian style hair, they either straighten it out with expensive and corrosive chemicals at the salon, or wear an expensive wig/weave/extensions. That's why every time there's a fight, the first thing they go for is the hair, its like keying someone's car, you know its personal and going to cost a lot to fix.

The Coiffure Caper was hair raising is the only thing off the top of my head that I can come up with for this thread.

Then I read more booking info and got this:
