"Cars ended up piled on top of cars like toys."

Do kids really stack their toy cars?

It's more fun to burn them.

I gave them the full treatment: firecrackers, lighter fluid and matches, and hammer.

Do that today and it would be a race between Homeland Security and the cops to see who would get to lock you up as a threat to society. Personally, I built pipe bombs, filled weather balloons with house gas, made hot air balloons using dry cleaner bags and sterno and launched them over the neighborhood, and a million other things that would get me arrested today. No wonder kids these days just stay inside and play video games; anything else and they'd be incarcerated or medicated into a stupor.

That sounds like what happened to my cousin's GI Joes that went "MIA" in my grandmother's back yard.

You should try it again.

There was a weird kid in my neighborhood who played with his green army men by holding courts-martial for them, sentencing them to execution and killing them with a lighter-fluid flamethrower. He'd also write letters of condolences to their families. That'll teach that damned useless minesweeper.

Estes model rocket engines
Would spend weeks building a cool model car then stick a rocket engine in it.
Mom didn't like it, but Dad was cool with it.

fark yeah! that's the spirit. toys & toy destruction is even better on a adults budget. you can get a lot of fun things at yard sales. add on full access to the workshop, supplies - plus handy helpful how-to online tips? holy moly, it's a non-stop fun fest! too bad used cars aren't cheap as hell like they used to be. in the woods heavy drinking kill the car week ends are good for the soul.

Years ago, Volvo stacked 15 cars on top of each other and still could open the doors on the bottom one to prove their strength. I was impressed.
The cars had been submerged during a bad storm so why not.

Chicago bus driver smashes into 20 cars, increases job security

Sounds right to me. Chicago bus drivers persuaded the city that they shouldn't have to pay tickets for running red lights.

As someone who rides on Chicago buses almost every day, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Another Chicagoan...I never saw on the news what caused the driver to pass out. Have you and could you fill me in?

Zaz is as completely and totally wrong as Zaz could ever possibly be. About 540 degrees wrong.

But don't let actual truth stop you from making shiat up.

Wow...the comments from TFA make me sad for humanity. They will be cataloged away for if my wife ever wants us to move to Chicago to be near her family though. I will then pull up that page and point to the comments and say, "See...Chicago is a farked up place. We're staying in San Diego."

Chicago (and I live there) and Cook County in general is the most backwards MSA in the most backwards state in the union. Don't be fooled by big buildings and theatres. The sky-rocket taxes, corrupt politicians from the Governor on down...leading murder rate in all the U.S...crime...half the city [south] should just be walled and gas everyone inside, everything else the most expensive in the U.S. (e.g. gasoline)...you pay for every highway you drive on (tolls)...absolutely zero financial prudence...Chicago and IL in general are about (or ARE) the least financially fit areas in the U.S. Horrendous traffic problems...did I mention corruption?

Fortunately I live about a mile outside Cook, in Kane County. So I escape part of this. But yeah, IL sucks and Chicago is at the apex of suckitude.

fun to visit, hell to live. IL...more backwards than Bum-F*ck, U.S.A.
