Yes but did he use an assault rifle?

2012-12-21 12:53:44 PM
But I thought that if everyone was armed, then everyone would be safe because only good guys know how to hit the bad guys?

/did action movies lie to me?

Obviously, as with the Sandy Hook shooter, Obama paid this guy to shoot people to make the NRA look bad so Obama can confiscate all the guns.

You're missing the important part: was this guy's father scheduled to testify at the LIBOR hearings?

Who landed the killing shot? Was it self-inflicted, or was it someone else on the scene with a gun? If it was someone else, LaPierre will just point to this as the success of his line of thinking.

There were at least three state troopers involved. My comment above was meant to be sarcastic.

I understand. I think LaPierre is a jackass and wrong on this issue. I will, however, be pissed off if the gunman died by a police officer's gun, LaPierre points to this, and says, "See? See?"

When he would blatantly ignore anyone pointing at the victims and saying, "See? See?"

I think LaPierre cares more about guns than the victims. It's a given he will ignore or tear down anyone using this to support any view besides his own.

I usually wind up posting this in every single thread about the NRA:

The NRA is an industry trade group who is tasked with only one thing: selling more guns. If this means training people to use their guns safely, they'll do it, but only to appease the anti-gun crowd. EVERYTHING this organization does is done to sell more guns. Violent crime up? Better get a gun to defend yourself. Violent crime down? It's becasue people are buying guns and defending themselves! Cops being shot? The cops need better guns! Cops shooting too many people? The cops need more gun training (and more practice which sells more ammo)!

The NRA no longer represents gun owners. The interests of gun owners and gun manufacturers do overlap in a Venn diagram, but gun owners are fooling themselves by following lockstep with the NRA.

2012-12-21 01:38:01 PM
This was obviously planned by Obama to discredit the NRA.

It's like God is farking with the NRA at this point.

The craziest thing is that it's not even a breaking news on any of the cable networks. Are we now at the point where a death toll of four isn't enough to warrant mention in the 24 hour news cycle?

The biggest question is what type of violent video games he played. Given the lack of prostitutes harmed, obviously not GTA.

Clearly Call of Duty and John Stewart are to blame.

One of the cops was injured from being involved in an automobile accident of some kind, so it's possible that it just happened to be a section of town with no prostitutes.

Here's an update with more information:

GEESEYTOWN -- Four people are dead -- including the shooter -- and three state troopers were injured this morning in a shooting incident in Frankstown Township, Blair County District Attorney Richard Consiglio said.

The gunman and two other men and a woman are all dead, Consiglio said.

The woman was killed at the Juniata Valley Gospel Church, a nondenominational church outside of Geeseytown on Juniata Valley Road, sources tell the Mirror.

Two troopers were wounded during a shootout with the suspect, Consiglio said. One trooper was hit in his bulletproof vest and another was hit by flying glass when the gunman fired at his state police vehicle.

A third trooper was injured in a crash involving the suspect, Consiglio said.

Hollidaysburg Area School District schools, particularly Frankstown Elementary School, weren't in a lockdown mode as a result of the shooting.

Superintendent Paul Gallagher said state police contacted the district about the incident but said there was no threat to students.

That's true. I never considered that. Great point.

One of the dead is a woman who went to the church early to decorate for a Christmas party. Instead of glass balls, trees should be decorated with hand grenades.

Randy Travis?
