Cheron: Ten fictional Santa Clauses

Who wants to fill subby in?

I'll do it.

Subby... Santa Claus... Is a ninja. I'm sorry, I really am, but there's no elves, there's only tiny ninjas that make gifts.

Think about, who else but a ninja can get into that many houses in a single night, worldwide? Also, his ninja village is hidden, so there's that too.

However, if you do see him, you might as well say goodbye, because he must kill you.

/the sled is real, though

In The Year Without a Santa Claus he wasn't scary but he was kind of a jerk.

My 4 year old daughter is terrified of Santa. She can watch them on TV without a problem, but she will not get near an actual person in the suit. That being said, she loves Jack Skellington. She says that she wants Jack, not Santa, to bring her presents.

What about the Santa from the obscure Mexican movie
Santa Clause? The movie where Santa is god, has an army of enslaved children instead of elves, and fights the devil. I'm not making this up, there was a MST3K on it.
Here's the IMDB page: Link.

Meh -- I found Rare Exports to be pretty disappointing (and surprisingly dull). The original short is much, much better. I don't think they had enough of an idea to stretch it to a full-on movie:

You see Santa Claus tonight you better run boy, you better run for ya life!

In 1984 the producers behind the "nightmare on Elm Street" franchise put out a slasher Christmas movie, called "Silent Night Deadly Night". I remember that the local theaters wouldn't play it and up in Atlanta people picketed the theaters where it did.it. One scene had Santa coming through the chimney bringing toys to the children at some house, and finding a guy and a naked lady having sex right next to the note with the milk and cookies. He killed the guy with an axe and impaled the woman right through her tits on a deer head with a huge set of antlers that hung on the wall.

Sikel and Ebert reviewed the movie and not only gave it two thumbs down, they made a point of naming the producer, writer and director and said "shame shame shame" after each name.

Eh, the makers of the list didn't think Jingle All the Way was a good movie for kids, they obviously have judgement way too poor to have seen anything that awesome.
