The thing I've realized with Hamburger Helper is that it takes you the same amount of time to prepare a proper pasta dish in the time it takes to prepare Hamburger Helper. And you don't end up with toxic gas afterwards either.

We ate the stuff a lot as a kid and I liked a few of the kinds mom made. The beef stroganoff was always my fav followed by chili Mac. They changed it at some point and it was never the same. We made it with deer quite a bit because we didn't have a ton of money. Maybe it was a poor kid thing.

Having organized and participated in numerous river cleanups, I applaud the efforts of these volunteers. Thank goodness this happened during cold weather. Cleaning up rotting beef. Ewwwww.

Does anyone else see a graphic of the mayan calendar before TFA pops up? I wonder if their site got a virus, or else if they are trying to be cute doing an easter egg thing.

IAMTHEINTARWEBS: That was a pretty great headline subby.

I agree; it is definitely headline of the week material and a late contender for "of the quarter" consideration.

I read that as "frozen panties" and then I was wondering why we were being told about yeast infections and Hamburger Helper. In the same sentence.
