Edison didn't take credit for anything. He paid cash.

We don't need to get hysteresis about this. I'm sure the government will float them.

The Tesla S is doing quite well in Orange County, there are two in the next town over that take my exit during commutes.

OTOH our CEO's Karma #1 and "replacement #2" went back for refund after they each rebooted in LA traffic. His company makes firmware subject to insane QC in an enterprise product, so when an engineer from Fisker pulled over to help, and told our CEO how to reboot the Fisker (#2), and that "sometimes this happens," he immediately called a tow truck and somehow "persuaded" Fisker to refund his money.

The difference is reliable firmware (apparently Tesla has better engineers and/or development QA vs. Fisker, as evidenced that Mr. Fisker has yet to built a successful rocket)

/ Disclaimer: I drive a 10 year old commuter
// but bury my sorry with TopGear
