Might be useful (or not) if I'd cease to thank folk for good pix, words, etc. But that'd be criminal, or verge on it. So Fang Q tigerose for another poesy (be able to count 'em soon, once I get thru the mid-Oct Caturday we were gone North & managed the actual meeting), James72 for Sophia & the tree, sherpa for a number of things esp incl the Alien Sighting .gif & shopping in a desired element on the horizon of the Golden Gate foto, spinach gunk for captioning Wakko as a child (being Maine Coon he's fuzzy/fluffy by definition except where the fur knots are) & yobbery for Star Wars. In my seek for summat for Plumbicon for Christmas (unable to Go Oot to shop, must do it online which means it may well be late) I tripped over the famous Yak Hat on sale from Greater Good. Coulda/shoulda got him one for the halibut. What I did order for him is practical.
Buddy aka Jake as a child at Little Mews.Foto credit to domari. It's sing-cerely hoped he's hadan excellent furr-ever home for quite some time now.
3rotor: her first kill.... yeah, I know, I still do not believe it ether, came in, dragging it by it's head, all kicken and screamin
furr-got to thank gremlin1 for prefer pantsleg to scratching post & B4 for the Hippo. Have mentioned mayhap too often the late classmate at Butler, more than his lifetime Ago, who was so fond of cats & managed to bring kittens to WAJC, the student-run FM radio station (now sold off, freq remains 104.5 but it has new call letters, q_j could find its newer ID quicker than I) during the summers. Steve Varnell was actually a music major, became Dir of the Richmond IN HS music dept when he grew up. As he was over 6 ft & 250 lb when we knew him,. he was almost there already. Kittens loved to climb his legs, often without fabric to protect his skin. Usual nickname was Barn Varn, which fit quite well. Good guy, who went too young to the Bridge & must've been met by gazillions of felines! No fotos, hadn't a camera at the time.
Picked this up from ICHC in my first Caturdays. As Pl & I both sing barbershop, it was quite logical.
In the past we have had fun with the "pun kitties"...
toetag: Just what I needed. a good cat thread.Lost my 18 year old, Wednesday. Came home Monday night and I knew something was a miss when she was downstairs in the "dog domain" and laying in front of the DOG water bowl. I'm guessing she had a stroke, her left legs weren't quite working and her eye was droopy. came home Wednesday, having scheduled an appointment to see the vet and have her put down and she had already passed.
OlderGuy: Saw the post from our Alien... that lady has gone through so much pure hell.. tough as nails, though.. So glad to see her posts.. I wish her, and the entire Caturday family, a very Merry Christmas.. Went out to the Church where my friend's twin daughters are buried.. left a small Christmas Tree and a couple of little toys on the grave.. others have been there too... she hasn't been at work for a couple of weeks.. first Christmas without them.. we all grieve with her.. she is having an incredibly difficult time right now.. and there is nothing we can do.. I am stepping up the RFID controller project.. seems a raccoon has found Fred,s sanctuary and food supply.. no food is being left in there now, so maybe it will stay away.. I am concerned that it may try to move in.. it is a sheltered area... I think the heated bed may be a big draw, though Fred would probably open a can of whupass over that ! I will be latching the pet door closed tonight.. there is a litterbox in there, but Fred won't be happy about being confined.. The indoor crew is doing well, all healthy for now.. had a flock of birds on the front lawn this morning.. all facing windows were occupied, with much commentary ensuing... a couple of birds were hovering right outside the LR window.. four cats on one cat tree platform, trying to climb up on each other.. definite ROFL moment... My condolences to those who have lost companions.. it will always hurt.. Food time for the Crew.. BBL

Brian Blessed's Bastard Boy: Mrs. B4 frowned heavily on my shenanigans today. At least she hasn't detonated anything around me or sabotaged anything, so I think I'm good. Long day at work planned tomorrow, so one picture today. The Hippo decided to eat Chimichanga, Gnocchi, Muenster, and Rootbeer today for some reason. We've had this Hippo for 13 years now. I got it for the wife when she was pregnant with our daughter, and we found it last year in a box of baby clothes. These four terrorists have absolutely claimed it as their own, so at least it's getting some good usage now.[sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net image 720x960]
mousiebelle: Really bad pain day/night. Must be a storm coming. I can hardly walk or even move. Finally decided to sit down (before I somehow managed to fall down) and check out Caturday. The guy is officially home for good! So very excited! Now to work on phase 2... **Sigh** Anyway, I love you guys, ladies & critters!
James72: "I'm gonna boop your nose!"[farm9.staticflickr.com image 360x640]*pounce*[farm9.staticflickr.com image 360x640]*boop*/actually, she jumped to grab the dangling wrist strap on my phone.
The Ice Queen: I don't know, he might be ok as long as he knows its just at night and he's free to go outside during the day. Beats sharing a bed with a raccoon :p
