fusillade762: duffblue: But according to the left, these people can be trusted to do no wrong. Why else would they ask us to voluntarily turn in our firearms?

Yeah, it was the left, all by its lonesome, who passed the Patriot Act.  Thank God for those conservative patriots at the ACLU for cluing us in on this.

Seriously, what color is the sky in your world?

You're changing the subject to minimize the disingenuousness of complaints about federal surveillance laws. The left had it's chance after concern trolling for 8 years of Bush 43 about civil freedoms. They dropped the ball, reauthorized about all of Bush's domestic stuff and haven't made a peep about it.

What the left is defending today is what they said was indefensible a few years back.

Yup, just more of your run-of-the mill tinfoil nonsense. Seriously, you're not special, and the government doesn't give a single shiat about what kind of porn you watch when you're one out of hundreds of millions.

I know that people say it sarcastically, but it's true: if you have nothing (illegal) to hide, you have nothing to fear.

And here is the source of the problem. People who believe that the government never accuses anyone of a crime for any but the purest motives.

Never fails to amaze me.

What the data will look like to law enforcement:
ulyssesonline.com

What the tin foil hat people will think it looks like:
doug-johnson.squarespace.com

What the analysts will claim they've seen:
www.csb.gov

If you heard from the paranoia people in the 70's that government was planning to put tracking devices on everyone and one upped them by saying people would pay for the privilege one day you'd be considered strange.

I was one of those retards who voted for Obama thinking "Hope and Change" would mean the repealing of the PATRIOT Act. Instead he signed a four year extension.

To answer your question: Orange, like my Guantanamo jumpsuit.

And of course, innocent people never get racked up.

Just ask the Duke Lacrosse Team.

Ort those people they murdered at Waco.

It has nothing to do with the issues.

The left just didn't like Bush because he is white.

Besides this, the last is the Bush tax cuts are evil, oh wait, once 0bama renewed them it is all "oh, please don't take them away from everyone, it would hurt them and the economy."

Yes, yes the Patriot Act was all about freedom. What the rubes don't realize is that.... you know what, fark it. I'm not gonna even bother. Don't worry, your guns will protect you from the evil government
