I've seen worse in October.

I have a small weather station outside, and its reading 40 plus winds gusting to 55, 27 degrees, and it's still snowing. From nothing, not a drop of snow..to this. This interferes with my goal of fapping 15 times in one day before the world explodes.

/prints off pron before the lights go out and i freeze.

/weird here, power went out and back on like 20 times over a hour or so. But is still on. I hope it stays on, as i have a gas heater, and the blower won't work if the electricity goes out.  Much like my last blower, my ex wife.

As a local who lives in Council Bluffs and commutes to downtown Omaha, this wasn't bad at all...just some early shoveling and sanding.

Of course, I took it slow, but I wasn't on the roads when they were full derp. People never learn that you shouldn't drive 70 on I-80 in your tri-colored truck with four wheel drive. I laugh at those types when they end up face first in a ditch.

I feel bad for the rest, especially those who lost power.

But, hey...we survived "Draco"!

Nerd alert: "Draco" is Latin for "dragon" and "Drago" is Italian for "dragon". I brought that up, because a few of us were joking about how cool it would be if the storm were named after the bad Russian guy in Rocky IV. I take some solace in the fact that, in a way, it was.

Only got 4 inches of snow but the gusting wind is still making visibility an issue. Never lost power, and wind from the north doesn't directly hit us, so it's been cozy.

Disappointed about the snow accumulation, mainly because we need the moisture.

I'll be able to get to the office tomorrow no problem.
Dammit.

Dirt and rocks put on the highway to keep vehicles from sliding cracked her windshield as she crept along at 10 mph, she said.

67 mph winds at Lambert (St. Louis) airport. Very little snow.

Power went out a couple times. Not too big of a deal. Close windows and apply beer.

Meh, no power and living on the seventeenth floor is not cool. The view of the storm was amazing though.

My forecast says, "Chance of snow 100% with accumulations up to 2 in. possible".

This is bullshiat. If it's gonna be cold, it might as well be fun. I want 2 FEET of snow.

We just got a heck of a lot of wind out of the deal, but that's probably because I live in southern New Mexico.

/Brother has a foot of snow in his driveway in DSM though. Sucker.

It's amazing how much you miss things like heat and lights when you don't have them. On the plus side I didn't have to work today. On the minus side I had to poop by candle light which isn't as sexy as you'd think.
