when i was going to an american elementary school off base in frankfurt as a kid we had bomb threats all the time. i used to love getting out of school early.

Indubitably: Seriously?

Better than the kid @ my HS that made the call from the payphone outside the principal's office. How many years of gitmo do you get for that these days. I don't remember people getting arrested back in the day for that, but maybe i wasn't paying attention and just greatful for the chance to go out and stand in the parking lot for an hour till the janitor made a cursory look and call "all clear."

As anyone who needs a nefarious phone number knows - you have to spoof both the ANI and CLID.

Of course not, they'll just create a GUI using Visual Basic and trace you in real time. Everyone knows that!

"Manley said police will seek a warrant for the arrest of the 17-year-old, who is legally an adult."

Really? What state is 17 the age of majority? Or is the 17 y/o emancipated?

We started to get these now and then at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo when I was there eons ago. The assumption was that they were being called in to clear a building where some exam was scheduled. The professors I had just announced that they would hold the exam outside in the event of a bomb threat.

The threats were part of a number made throughout the region in wake of the shooting that claimed the lives of 20 pupils and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.

/really, why would you do that? Are you seeking attention? You got it. Are you retarded? Or perhaps find that a bunch of kids being killed isn't exciting enough for you, and you must start some more shiat? Or maybe you're just a troll, with no sense of empathy, and just in it for the lulz. Well, i doubt you are laughing now. You two young Sirs, are assholes. Get used to being treated like one.

One day we couldn't get into our middle school in Pappillion NE, because of a bomb threat. They had us all waiting across the street at the Dairy Queen, in the parking lot. THen the police come and arrest the dumbass kid who made the threat, in the phone booth, it was like his fourth call to them. Same kid who had already gone to juvie for putting a bomb in his own locker the year before.

Of course this kind of thing would happen in a school called Birchland. It would never happen in Larchland. The Larch.

If my dog bites someone, I am held responsible.
Let the parents do a little jail time for their out-of-control juvenile delinquent.
