Beanlet: Even tho this woman might be batshiat crazy, she has a point. Monkeys do bond with their caregivers to the point of a familial relationship. If the monkey is used to this woman nurturing him, he may get extremely stressed and depressed. Primates have very real emotions and attachments to their families. It is sad to see this one being jerked around by stupid humans.

This. Then I was wondering if he gets to be a real monkey now, climbing trees or whatever Japanese maqacs do. Then I wondered if they make him run around without his coat.

She shouldn't have left him in the car. She shouldn't have had him out of the house. She shouldn't have had him in the first place. It is nice that she said they'd move to a place that allowed them if she could have him back.

"wild animals are owned by the person that possesses them"

This by itself is such a huge statement that I cannot even fully grasp the enormity of it.

It's a Lazer Beam: Why does the sight of this little guy make my biological clock tick and babies don't?

Because it's a horror story you identify with. She has no children and forced a monkey to be her perpetual babby. You're like "my god... that could be me if I don't have a family right now! If it's not a monkey, it's gonna be like 50 cats!"

Saw this lady interviewed. She has got some major screws loose, maybe needs to have a meeting with reality
