He needs to buy one for himself and use it to get to the outside. If they'd stop making him run it through the middle every damn time, he might get more than 2-3 yards per carry.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Foster, but they've proven he does better going on the outside. Kubiak just has a hard-on for driving it straight up the middle.

/Go Texans!

That's funny that you mention Barry, considering it was Arian's idol. I think Aikmen got his watches.

I believe Sanders bought them each a Rolex his rookie year.

I know you were making a joke, but apparently one of the reasons he got them segways (as opposed to some other gift) was that they always make fun of him for riding a segway around. He's a weird dude.

Emmitt bought the watches. I believe Aikman gave them golf clubs.

I would guess that the average offensive lineman exceeds the recommended maximum capacity of a Segway.

Barry Sanders is the greatest running back in NFL history.

With an average salary of $1.3 million for an OL player, I imagine you get to the point where everyone buys what they want for themselves, so you have to get them something they wouldn't normally buy

Wanna know my favorite thing about the Texans? You never hear anything bad about them (well off the field at least). None of them are in the headlines for driving drunk, or causing fights in a club, or acting like douchebags. Hell the closest you can come to something like that was Andre Johnson's epic beatdown of Cortland Finnegan on the field, and everyone agrees that Finnegan deserved every punch.

You sir are correct. According to the faq on the segway website maximum payload is 260 lbs.

I thought it would be higher.
So basically he just wasted a ton of money on a joke.

I heard when Barry Sanders had his 2,000 yard season, he also bought his linemen cars, with one player I cannot remember a minivan for his family.

jackiepaper: the hell is a 350lb man gonna do with a segway?

Came here to post this very thing. Segways have a total payload limit of 260 lb. So... I guess that's a nice paperweight, then.

I heard OJ actually started the trend with Rolls Royces for his line. I remember my uncle telling me this years ago, but it's hard to verify.

Don't worry. Goodell will put a stop to this improper compensation.

Don't mention other running backs in the same line as Barry. In my 42 years, he the best I've ever seen. He stands alone.
