Well it sure took them a while to come up with a new talking point.

- It's really a mental health issue and has nothing to do with guns
- You libtards don't know crap about guns so STFU
- It's politically and practically impossible to control guns
- If regular folks can't have AR-15s, tyranny's a-coming
- If guns were banned, mass murderers would just use sharpened carrots
- RAMPAGING HOGS
- Insufficient penis-to-vagina ratio

Hm. She may be onto something. After all, Columbine was entirely run by women, as well. And what if there had been men in the theater at Aurora? We may be on the verge of solving this violence problem, people.

Also, this idiocy is getting shared all over the place, re-blogged, re-posted, etc. etc. ad nauseum. Which means that the vapid soulless biatch who wrote it has learned, as did the likes of Limbaugh, Coulter, Stern, Beck, and all the other "I'll say anything as long as it gets me coverage and money" assholes in the world did long ago, that as long as you're willing to spout the vilest stupidity you can imagine, you get attention. You get page views. You get paid. Which in the end means you get hired to write more vile stupidity. And so it goes, the circle of life.

If the principal who rushed the shooter had been a man he would have avoided the gunfire. See, the principal in this case had to deal with all sorts of problems that prevented her from saving lives: needing to check her makeup before she intervined, having to keep a shorter stride to maintain modesty in a skirt, and stopping to jump on a chair because she thought she saw a mouse. Besides, you try to run in heels.

Nobody buys .223 to compensate for tiny penis. If you want to compare firearms with cars, a gun like the Bushmaster isn't the analogue of the sort of car one keeps in order to make a display of his masculinity. A car like a Hummer or Ferrari is more comparable to, say, the Barrett .50cal rifle or one of those "Street Sweeper"-style shotguns with the huge magazine--powerful and expensive machines the capabilities of which are wasted on all but a few of their owners.

Something like the Bushmaster is better compared to one of those Icy Hot Stuntaz-style cars with lots of chrome and sport car bodywork on the outside and a plain 4-banger under the hood. (Someone needs to shop a hipster with his piece--with lots of added "bling"--under the caption, "Str8 BALLIN!")

So, last I checked:

1) The Principal tried to tackle she shooter.
2) One of the teachers selflessly threw herself in the path of bullets to save her class.
3) Both were women.
4) The National Review has a really bizarre definition of "helpless passivity".
5) It takes a lot of courage to write something like this, clearly.

Ed Grubermann: Serious Black: giftedmadness: Wow, yet another misleading and trollish headline on fark.  The person who submitted this headline makes the leap from "more males on campus might have prevented the tragedy" to "the women on campus are responsible for the tragedy".  What a leap of logic!  What a worthless troll.  Of course men are more likely to stop someone than women.  Protip:  Men are stronger and more likely to stop someone via their strength than women are.  Is that such a shocker?  That does not mean that the women on site should be held responsible for the gunmen's actions.  Nobody is saying that.  Trollish, straw manish, dumbfarks.

QFTA: "But in general, a feminized setting is a setting in which helpless passivity is the norm."

I'm really glad your posts show up in bright orange now.

You don't have that piece of shiat on ignore yet? What the hell is wrong with you?

herp de derp.  You don't make an argument against my debate, you just insult me.  Typical lib.

Huh, interesting. So, in a way, my terrible username made at 4am as a teenager suffering from insomnia can be read to say that god is a vagina?
This is good to know.
Thank you, sirs.

thanks.

liberals are incapable of finding their own citations and always have the need for others to provide citations without providing any citations of their own.

Sparky14439: The Kelly School shooter was run down and captured by two MEN - nearby construction workers who heard the gunshots, saw him shooting, ran at him, and tackled him.

"O'Rourke was captured when a construction worker building a school cafeteria hit him with a truck and two others wrestled away the gun. "

Would it make sense for a mass shooter to pick a school based on how tall the bell-tower is?

for me, it's not so much that someone wrote that or even believes it. It's that they have a staff and a boss who read it, nodded their heads in agreement, and published it.

Apos: Coco LaFemme: Apos: The fact that a woman is spouting such misogynistic claptrap is mind-boggling.

I sadly know a few women who honestly believe men are better than women, and that they should be subject to their husbands.  What's funny is that none of them are particularly religious.

*Shakes head*   How sad indeed.

I've known a few of them and they will straight faced tell you that if women just learned to listen then things would run smoother, not saying assertive women are to blame for anything but..

The only people who talk about feminism, for weal or for woe, are feminists. The overwhelming majority are women.

And without reading the article I'm guessing she's got a point, probably, about how women should be more assertive and take bold actions instead of just letting themselves be victimized.

I trust the source. This story has been intensely covered and scrutinized. Andrew's no schlub.

Well, I decided to look, and in five seconds on google I found Sandy Hook Elementary's staff directory, and, what do you know?

1) Sandy Hook is a K-4 school, so no 11-12 year old boys.
2) There's a 4th grade teacher named Mr. Varga, and
3) The "head custodian" is someone named Kevin,

To be fair, since the position doesn't say "janitor" I'm going to assume the person who wrote the article didn't know "custodian" means the same thing.
