Sawheeeet...Now bring back Tales from the Crypt, Outer Limits, Tales of The Unexpected, One Step Beyond, Tales From the Darkside, Amazing Stories, Monsters, Masters of Horror, and Perversions of Science while you're at it. And make another Creppshow movie too. I love me some antholigies, more than any other type of program.

Mugato: Dr.Zom: Mugato: Dr.Zom: Daviud Duchovny would be a pretty good candidate for hosting. He's already done something similar with Red Shoe Diaries and he's got geek cred to boot.

"I'm going to show you some farked up supernatural shiat tonight. And this time there isn't an annoying biatch here to tell me that it doesn't exist. I mean really, every farking week, 'Mulder, there's no such things as....' STFU!. I don't care how hot and red headed you are. Just trust me for one episode that maybe the shiat I'm bringing down is real, you farking...oh sorry, Uh, here's the Twilight Zone."

I was thinking more in the vein of his Red Shoe Diaries intros.

"We never know where our paths in life will take us. Only that we will go there, somehow. And we will find out things we never knew, things we never expected, about how we love, about our passions, about how it was really a cookbook for humans."

Hehe. I always watched those with the sound off so I wouldn't know. I didn't even know for the longest time that was Mulder sitting on the rock with the dog.

the best of satire that came out of the red shoe diaries was with harvey birdman phil ken sebben character spoof of the david duchovnyLink

No Rod Serling, no Twilight Zone.  They can call it whatever they'd like, but it will never be The Twilight Zone.

I've always thought that Ed Wasser (Morden from Babylon 5) would make an awesome Twilight Zone Narrator.

Lego_Addict: Twilight Zone? Is that like The Scary Door?

Outer Limits was better in my opinion. They should bring that one back instead

I'd love to see a revival of "Amazing Stories" or "Tales From The Darkside".

The intro to "Darkside" was scary as f*ck. Still is.

skinink: Personally I liked Tales from the Darkside as well. Even Spielberg's Amazing Stories was pretty good.

Perfect opening (and closing) theme for a Sunday 1 AM.

They need to do it like they did the 80s version. Cheap, with today's digital tech that won't be a major limitation anymore, and hands off the creative director.

Put it in the hands of someone with vision, air it at 10pm to reduce censorship requirements, and let them do whatever they want. CBS could have something to compete with the best the cable networks have, maybe even better. The Twilight Zone concept is one that easily integrates with our online world. There could be an SCP Foundation/creepypasta/Slenderman style tie in.

Things that might not fit in an hour show could be extended to Youtube or Hulu for instance.

The worst thing they could do is to demand a remake according to the old tv show formula. The audience has moved past that.
