That's the one. Pretty freakin' epic. Can't find a really hi-res version of that pic, so I guess it'll only be on one monitor at best, or tiled to show on both. Shame. The Spiral Galaxy one is huge though.

The Venus transit photograph is unbelievable. Can astronomers (both Bad and Good) use those kinds of images to analyze Venus' atmosphere?

The Image of Curiosity mid entry with it's parachute deployed taken by NASA MRO should have made the list or at least honorable mention. Not for the quality of the image but the meticulous engineering that went into coordinating such a shot.

You know it really throws me off how big the Sun looks behind Venus in transit. It took me a few moments to realize that it's because of how small Venus is, not how big the Sun appears to be at that distance. The sun is apparently only 3/2 the size it appears on Earth.
