tricycleracer: Accumulating so many miles offers serious perks, of course. Stuker usually flies first class and is a member of United's Global Services, an invitation-only program that offers "certain unpublished benefits," Handie from the captain?
SmackLT: To be fair, it's a bit more entertaining than just getting a bunch of chest x-rays. But the radiation is the same.
ChipNASA: I wonder what that seat cushion smelled like.
Mr. Coffee Nerves: I just did eight flights in just over a week totaling 9,000 miles or so, and by the end I was ready to shove a baby otter into a rusty tree chipper. This guy must buy Xanax by the drum.
Eurotrip: That's a LOT of solar radiation.
Three Crooked Squirrels: If my math is even close, that is roughly a 3,000 mile cross country flight 9 out of every 10 days. I'm guessing he has 1,000,000 frequent flier miles, not 1,000,000 miles in flight, racking up double miles here and there and getting credit card miles, etc. Still, the guy clearly flies a lot.
Flakeloaf: Still better than honey boo boo.
Sudlow: Could someone please tell him about Skype? My ex-boss loved being a Gold level frequent flyer so much he flew from Boston to a trade show in the mid west and back again the same day just for the miles. Time spent at the show? About an hour. Time spent talking to customers? Zero.
lennavan: Accumulating so many miles offers serious perks, of course. Stuker usually flies first class and is a member of United's Global Services, an invitation-only program that offers "certain unpublished benefits," said Rahsaan Johnson, a spokesman for the airline.Anal?
buckler: Stupid formatting. Looked good in preview.
occamswrist: I work with people who brag about how much they fly and how they are Super Platinum Titanium Flyers. I usually zone out when they describe it.I just tell them I never want to have to fly that much. It sounds like a terrible life.
