That truck looks a lot like a billboard.

2012-12-19 09:59:04 AM
I'd have to see the carfax on it first.  No telling how many times Laura wrecked it while blowing stop signs.

Nice ride. It will probably go for too much.

Low miles!

Seriously, like less than 200 I would guess.

2012-12-19 11:07:13 AM
I'm no fan of Bush, but I know he has some people that damn near literally worship him.  Since the truck is being auctioned and proceeds go to a good cause (one he created, mind you), I hope it sells for a lot of money and the person that buys it is truly happy with the purchase.

Yeah, but like all F150s in Texas, it doesn't have a turn signal (same thing with Silverado and Ram trucks).

This is true but as a native Houstonian I can say that a good majority of the people here are from out of state, these are the ones I blame. :-)

I grew up on the NE side of town (Sheldon).  We had an ordinance out there that stated if there was decent looking girl within 100 yards and you were driving a Ford or Chevy pickup, you must rev the engine and peel out.  Then there was the inability to drive under 45 MPH in a residential neighborhood...

Bush, who left office in 2009, said in the news release, "I haven't driven on a street in many, many years, but I have been able to drive this truck on my ranch

Reminds me of the story going around about Al Gore after he left office. Al hadn't driven in years, no longer had a drivers license, and was surprised when he got in the backseat of a car that the engine didn't start.

Umm, Fisher house was created in 1990, by Zachary Fisher a real estate developer. It is a military version of the Ronald McDonald House.

As a Ram driver I always use my blinkers. ALWAYS. My wife didn't use them when we met, but when I figured it out I had the "so you're that chick on the phone and not using your blinkers" conversation.

That's the Chevy 1500s. The payloads on a F150 and Ram 1500 are up around 10,000 lbs. The Chevy 1500 is 7,000.

I pulled a 4,000 lbs stock trailer with 2x 1,500 lbs cows in my 1/2 Ram from Porter to Buchanan Dam about 2 months ago. Had plenty of power. More than my sister's F250 power stroke. I'm not hauling goose necks, though. That F250 was sagging quite a bit with a scissor lift on a flat bed.

The question is: is your F250 in mint condition with no scratches / dings and no dirt?

I really like fun older cars that have been taken care of/restored like that Subaru
the problem is, I would have a hard enough time fitting into the Scrambler,
that subaru would be a coffin for me
